Just saw my first Lips show at age 60 in October. While sad that I missed out on so much over the years, I am grateful to have finally discovered the band and had an opportunity to see them live. Many parallels between my own story growing up in my neighborhood and that of the Coyne family in OKC. All respect to Wayne and Steven for keeping things going all these years. Hopefully there will be much more to come from them in the future. Very much looking forward to receiving my copy of this release to enjoy until they can release another new album.
I am 44 and I never thought I would have a chance to see them. But, they were in Cincinnati on a Tuesday night and I couldn't believe it. It was a small venue and I was right there right in front of the stage. I never thought I would have that kind of luck

Bonnaroo, I'm standing in the middle of a field tripping balls and quietly hear Dark Side of the Moon somewhere to my right. "Do you hear Dark Side? Someone's playing Dark Side." I said to my friends. "Follow me." We proceed to find the Lips in the middle of Breathe and you won a fan for life. Keep it up and I'll be here to absorb it all.

This is one of my favourite albums ever. The time I spent with it was really special and helped me get home after hard ambulance shifts
Just saw them in Cincy this spring. I really can't believe this has been a 20 year journey with them and the single greatest love song time of all time.
Saw them (I think that year) with Beck. It was like a tent revival, just astonishingly moving and cathartic.

What's the benefit of digital if you have the CD? Is the digital release hi-res?

Will the Pink Vinyl box set be coming to any UK sellers? I desperately want it but the shipping fees from the US store are nightmarish. It ends up at over £150 which is just too much.
Since the cd's are accessible from one side of the box, the shrink rap with original sticker should not be completely removed.

I bought this being a fan but will never play the added discs more than once. Now, a blu ray with the old 5.1 mix and, wishful thinking, Atmos mix; I would play that disc constantly.
This band used to be a beacon for surround sound. Sad those days are gone.

While animating his book when it is out I should tell A.I. to also use a 3d printer add to itself (which will naturally skynet macro to take over a room and probably make itself a pink robot)

No Blu Ray, no 5.1 (I know, they did it already, but it sold out and people are selling it for mega $$$ on ebay) so yeah, I gotta skip this. Flaming Lips can and should make the 5.1 mix on Blu Ray with some professionally done concert footage and take pre-orders and the fans (well, this fan) would pay for it.
