Hey man, I love your stuff! I wish you would come out with some tutorials, your stuff is great and there is never too many tutorials for Harmony rigging. Also, do you ever use deformer rigging or do you exclusively use cut out?? I saw on your portfolio, the running cloak guy, and I couldn't tell if it was bone deformers or if it was cut out.
Thanks so much! I've been considering putting out some tutorials for a while, but wasn't sure if it was worth it until I got some requests. I might have one up in a couple of weeks. On the deformers thing, I use almost exclusively the envelope deformer. One of the latest Harmony updates gives you a tool to select multiple anchor points and move them around like you would with the bone. It's definitely the most powerful and easy to use deformer in any big animation software, and the go-to for the industry here in Vancouver. I use it in this video mostly for the squash and stretch in the character's jaw, and for foreshortening in his arms. Good to see how much love Harmony gets in this site!
