Many people don't travel like that today. Instead of taking things slow and smelling the roses so to speak, it's rush, rush, rush and social media ll the dang time.

@@heru-deshet359 capitalism is why this doesn’t exist or penn station. Because your capitalist lord and saviors wanted the future to be cars and planes because there’s more money to be made. And due to the “free markets” they destroyed penn station and turned it into Madison square garden and made the new penn station into a mess with no greatness

I can't wait for the return of the train. It started in Europe already because of environmental reasons which means it'll come to America shortly.

Been watching plenty of westerns such as hell on wheels, and it really is amazing how some of these cars came out. Id be happy to live in one as a home if im being honest. Kinda wish we never advanced past the train.

Buy an old abandoned rail car, have it transported to your land and start restoring it your way. The satisfaction level is astronomical.

Cars like this had decades of service to a small number of people. Thanks to volunteers and forward thinking folks it has now had decades more availability to a multitude of people. Capitalism made it available to the rich. Generosity and philanthropy have made it available to all.
