- The Montana 3121RL has a new model number for 2023. It is now the 3123RL. It got a facelift! This floorplan now offers the coffee bar and pantry tucked behind two sliding doors. They also added a new island design with open shelves and 110 volt outlets for charging your mobile devises. There is more storage in the bathroom as well. Check out this refresh for Montana's most popular 35' floorplan.

I like all the improvements except for the shelves on the center island. Big thumbs up for the shoe storage. In addition I would like to see the in command and power cord reel be available without having pay for the full legacy package.

Commenting because you asked, lol. Looks like a really beautiful upgraded rig....my only suggestion to change would be to remove those shelves on each end of the kitchen island. It would be better to go back to the larger kitchen trash slide opening. Nothing can be on those shelves anyway "when traveling" so the space would be better used inside as a cabinet space. thank you for taking the time to share / show.

Well, I'm looking forward to new Keystone, Montana ownership. My wife and I purchased a 2023, 3123RL. This is our 2nd purchase of a 5th wheel. We were EXTREMELY disappointed in our 2015, GD. That experience has made us very conservative in this purchase process. The track record of and wanting customer input/feedback, speaks volumes about the folks at Keystone. But we love our unit! Full body paint with the "Legacy Package!" A person gets spoiled really quick on those disc brakes!

Not to sure about the larger pantry, I’ll like the coffee bar better. But to each their own taste. One upgrade that they need to do is a surface mount stove with the burners being more spread out. Try and put larger pots and pans on their current stove top and there’s no room.

we have there 2020 3120RL. love it, i do like the upgrades in the bathroom. don't like the shelves in the island in the kitchen. you have to take everything out when you travel down the road and because of the shelves on the forward end you lose the one drawer where we kept our silverware. we like the double sink to wash dishes. . will miss the coffee bar but love the new pantry. did the doors for the pantry have locks on them? didn't see them? love the upgraded stove. the island with the shelves and losing the drawer is a turnoff for us. we are Montana lovers but not this new model tho lol
We have a 2019 version and prefer it to this one. We full time and like the dual sink better for washing dishes. Our current coffee bar counter is large enough to place our convection oven. The island shelves are nice, but cannot store anything there during travel. We would love a stove top that is level with the counter. I was looking forward to upgrading to a 3231CK, but it now looks like I will be keeping my current RV.
Personally I’m not happy about the sink change. I like the split sinks they had before. It’s easier to do dishes in my opinion. Everything else is good.

Didn’t think I’d like the pantry but I actually think they’ve done a good job because there’s still room for a coffee machine and I’m not a fan of looking at my appliances so I personally think that was a good move, especially for moving everything on moving day.
I like having the bathroom storage aswell, even just for towels and sheets, just giving them a home. I think a solution to the depth would be if they put in some pull out shelves - even just wire ones, so you don’t loose things at the back
I don’t like the wardrobe/washer drier space. I REALLY like how grand design has been doing them with the washer/drier in the middle and two seperate wardrobes so there’s one for each adult rather than sharing a wardrobe and a big rod. I’d prefer myself and my partner to have our own space and not feel forced to share/ squabble over who’s using too much!
I like the entry storage area. Not sure about the hutch space being moved into pantry space, but it could work. The island changes don't work for me though. And, I'd really like an option other than those bowl sinks in the bathroom.
I like the shoe storage when you come in, but it would be nice if if had a door to hide them from view. I like the new pantry and the coffee maker space with an outlet is fantastic. I worry about the sliding doors coming open during travel, 'tho. I'm not a fan of the new island, with its farmhouse sink. A double sink is much better for washing dishes as you can leave them to dry in a small rack in the second sink. With this new island, you'll need a dish rack placed onto the counter top. Also, the shelves on the side are kind of useless. The extra storage in the bathroom is nice.

Ditch all the open cubbies and island shelves, they are only clutter and dust gatherers. Large mirrors in closet doors make the bedroom feel more spacious, but the box around the TV take some of that away. Twin doors for front storage take away some flexibility when storing long items.
Shelves at end of galley Island, wasted space. I personally prefer the split galley sink apposed to farm sink.
Not sure why everyone is going to the single bowl sink in the kitchen . I really don't like them . Could be a deal breaker . Love the sink in bathroom
Not too interested in the shelves on the island. Maybe just collects clutter when you are parked, then you have to put it all away. This new sink is better for us too. Love the shoe storage, always an issue for us. I am good with the compromises between pantry and bathroom. Always need more space for towels and such. The pantry was very deep before and hard to access all the way to the back. I am guessing there are locks on the sliders for the pantry. Thinking we could leave our coffee pot on counter between stops, that would be handy and save storage space. We had an under-cabinet coffee machine on our last rig. Might install one in the future, to save space and set up time.
I was hopeful for 12v Fridge option now that solar is on everything. Any changes to the Legacy Package? Would have added I.S. if it was an option.

Thanks for doing this video. We have been pretty locked into a 3121 for a year, waiting for my wife to retire next year. Nice changes....maybe going to a tankless water heater versus making the old one bigger? We love the layout of this Montana.....one big miss I think is not having a 12V refrigerator. They should have put in a 19cu ft 12V.....plenty big enough (similar to Alliance Paradigm). Maybe upgrading to the 320 Watt Furion solar standard? Can't cost that much more. I don't know why Montana hasn't upgraded the side stands along the couch to allow them to open for more storage. Seems like a cheap fix and would match their competitors. One last thing....I have seen bathroom sinks that are rectangular in size (table top) compared to the bowl. I think it would look more modern and be even more functional......again....an easy change.

Don’t care for the open shelves on island or the high shelves by the bed. Very inconvenient to reach anything. I would also rather have double sink.

The island is nice but not sure about the shelves on the sides. Thing on the shelves would have to be glued on or something that would have to be moved each time you pack up to move.

I don't like the island. The shelves are a dust collector cant really use them for anything. Would rather have the two sinks instead of a farm sink. I do like the pantry but it would still be tuff to get into with the slide closed. other than that it looks pretty good.

Put bungee cords in those shelves in the end of the island. That way you can leave stuff in there.
Love the new island, pantry and bathroom changes. That made this a perfect floor plan and size.
I do not like the island changes. I rater have extra room inside.

That's a great idea! Not sure if they can since they need to use that marine grade flooring in the slides. They don't use vinyl because it would leave creases once the slides are put in. Maybe they could find identical patterns in both flooring types 🤔
Should put a door on shoe shelves to prevent odours from stinky shoes and the ugly sight of shoes as you enter!

Love the farmhouse sink, hate the island shelves….concept is great but the curve in front of the shelf is hideous. Doesn’t match the aesthetic of the rest of the RV, just seems out of place and like it was slapped on as an afterthought.
