The individual water shut off valves and that they leave you an access panel!!!! legitimately has just changed my whole view on rv bands. They ligit show they listen to full time rvs. And how they are designed to carry water weight. I just. Wow on this one👌👌👌

I LOVE this model! Having the hall on the driver side is so so perfect. For me personally, it makes more sense and it gives that feel of privacy that is needed. Well done on the presentation of this one Josh!
We have owned our 340 RL for a year now. Other than a few minor issues that Alliance handled like no other manufacturer, this unit has been problem free, well built and very comfortable for extended traveling.. Great unit, great company!!
@@JoshtheRVNerd our friends who have a Alliance Avenue camped with us this weekend. Their antenna booster switch failed and was supposed to be on Friday morning. When it didn't show up, Alliance authorized them to go to Walmart and buy a portable antenna for their TV and over-nighted a check to reimburse them for the expense. What other company would do this. And by the way, they answered his email at 5 am Saturday morning.
Just bought a 2022 340RL at the Quartzite RV show last month. Having solar and washer/dryer installed from my previous rig. It should be ready for us to pick up next week. Can't wait to get back out on the road!

Nice! I visualize it more as a destination rig than something to be hauled regularly. Or, perhaps, a long road trip with leisurely stops to explore areas along the way. :-) Lack of bedroom and freezer access for emergency stops isn't too bad. A little planning goes a long way: Ice in a bag inside a soft cooler in the refrigerator, as well as refrigerated food that doesn't require heating/cooking; tuck a few extra clothes/linens in the main area for an emergency overnight stay without opening the slides. I love the individual shutoff valves on all of the water lines! We did that when we renovated our pre-owned TT. Everyone told us we were overthinking it! 🙃 Storage behind the fireplace is nice, along with other storage tucked into various places. And I always appreciate the enclosed...Hmmm...My brain just went blank! Docking station? Water fill, kill switch, etc. And the service panel! SWOON! LOL Obviously, a proponent of form follows function. 🙃 I also like the option for a generator--and more solar! While we primarily rely on solar and batteries, the generator as backup to the sun to recharge the batteries is nice. It can be run during the day to top off the batteries--usually just an hour or two when the weather doesn't cooperate for several days! As much as I like fifth wheels, we discovered during our search that I can't hook one up to the truck. We agreed going into the search that both of us have to be able to take care of essentials in an emergency. One of us may be able to do things better or more quickly than the other, but both can do what is necessary to get us on the road. Sadly, my mobility issues combined with being vertically challenged, preclude a fifth wheel. But this will be close to perfect for many people! :-) ... Teale 🏜️
I tend to see these bigger models similarly. I know some folks do tow them, but especially with that bedroom layout cut off in transit it feels more like a destination-use model to me. I'm similar in function over fashion. I need it to work. We'll worry about it being "pretty" later

As a Home Theater buff, I really value the fact that the recliners are directly across from the TV. But, and you knew there would be a but.. The TV is too small. For an optimal viewing experience, the seating distance should be twice the diagonal measure of the TV. In this case, the seating position is about 130" from the TV, which calls for a 65" screen. I understand the space constraint, but if you really want to develop a passionate customer base.. have your engineers factor in the Home Theater effect. Especially considering the "Full-timer" element. And it's wonderful to finally have a manufacturer that is embracing real-time technology! The solar options with realistic power output versus some useless 100 watt panel is great!
This is flat out the RV I would buy when I’m ready. Only design change I would make is remove the left bedside stand so there would be room for a real King mattress instead of the RV King. Really don’t need that side stand since you already have that open cabinet right there. But you hit the nail on the head, this layout has such a residential feel to it. Also happy to see that Alliance got rid of the gold cabinet hardware and went with black. Thanks for the awesome videos!

Really like the little storage benches in the bedroom. The one knock I have is the door right next to the awning arm. Someone needs to come up with a light-weight shield that attaches to the awning arm to deflect water.
When I see this floorplan and I compare it with every other toy hauler floorplan, I am totally confident in my assessment that if you have no toys to haul then this is 100% more comfortable and livable👍👍👍
Definitely a great system. That large full sized shower with seat was insane. Loved the master bedroom layout and all the storage it had. The weight of the trailer is okay….the hitch weight for my truck leaves no room. Otherwise, if I were in the market, it would be a definite go looker. Awesome job Josh.
Hi Josh, one thing I’d like to see Alliance add to this fifth wheels is a central vacuum. I love the units that have the electric dust pan, very easy to keep the floor clean, especially if you have a dog or children.
Very nice basement! Go full mongo solar!! I like the window over the headboard! Ginormous windows are nice! Dinette would go if I were to buy. Nice napping sofa! No floor vents =happy mama bear. Big 12v fridge is keen! Door shade?! The big windows are like mirror on the outside, right? NO! Valves at fixtures is smart! Nice shower. Nice fart fan. Soft close stool lid = nice. Turtle snack age! Turtle potty! Low speakers.
We really liked this floorplan, we had a reverse walkup Sabre years ago and really liked the feel of seporation....but for us the deal breaker was lack of inside storage, no pantry, ...outside its fine.
Beautiful! You're right, the hall away from the door makes it feel more dedicated and so gives it a better home feel. About the side stand areas. It really surprised me that and east-west would be more popular than a north-south bed set up. East-west has always been the immediate nope, because of the lack of space for the PAP machine. Those itty-bitty shelves are only good for holding a phone. They would need to be twice as wide to think about putting a PAP on them. North-south have decent sized side tables.

Josh, you're obviously impressed with the Alliance brand, so I don't think we're too far from hearing, "That's just Alliance doing Alliance things." I watched your factory tour, too, and I'm glad there's some manufacturers finally focusing on longevity and serviceability. (There seems to be a lot of "FEMA-style" trailers on the market nowadays) As for this one, I'd like to have access to the bedroom in road mode, but the couch will do in a pinch. You've got a winning format here, and with Bish's, you're covering quite a smorgasbord of product and doing it well. Looking forward to what's next; maybe some motorized units?
Cut the mustard is a take on pass the muster which was a military inspection. If you did well you passed the muster. If your troop did exceptional then before you went on leave your troop would not have to be subject to another inspection and you cut the muster. Some time in history mistook the saying as pass the muster or cut the muster as cut the mustard. I love that my viewers look into this. Someone hit me up last night & shared a case based on farming in which mustard plants were grown similarly to corn & harvested by hand. Their stalks were robust and difficult to cut down. So you needed a good blade that "Cut the Mustard" And if it wasn't good, then it didn't cut the mustard. No idea what's the origin. I just like origin of language :)

I dig a stair on the poop side.. It's classy, and I'm not gonna quibble over lost storage behind the tv, it makes sense, or it won't pivot! Besides, with all that space available behind the tootsie toaster, large enough to stuff an annoying preteen! All that storage in the basement wow.. I could get a couple of folding ebikes in there with all my crap I already have.. That bathroom is just about perfect. I'm with you, nerd, but m function over form, and my wife would loose her apples with white cupboards in kitchen.. She prefers the HOA wood tones.. The oak is light enough not gie off cave vibes... I like it mucho!

The wife and I checked this model along with the 310Rl and both of us prefer the 310. I think the kitchen pantry was better in the 310 as well as the fact that when in your bed , it was hidden behind the bathroom unlike the 340 where you can see the bed from the kitchen. Just felt off.

Great floor plan was a strong contender between the 310 and 370, but… it doesn’t have a good pantry. Crazy thing is the Avenue lineups actually has adjustable shelves in their pantries.
I've like pretty much all of the Alliance 5th wheels I've seen. If we were large trailer folks, the trailers not us, they would be one of the top brands on our list. Now for the important question: When will we get a chance to see the new Alliance travel trailers? When they announced them last fall they said they would be launching them this summer. I would think they should have or be very close to having some product prototypes we could sneak peak anytime now.
When I visited the factory recently I was given some insights into that. Word is they're working on a lineup now and have some prototypes estimated over the next few months I suspect we'll see more of a fall launch for them. Maybe late summer
@@JoshtheRVNerd Some trailers in the 23 - 25 ft box and 25 - 28 ft overall lengths with a fixed queen bed , or the option, and a 30X36 shower would great.
I just discovered the Alliance RV brand last summer, I especially like the Paradigm 385FL! But from last summer and the 2022 model year to the current 2023 year the height went from 13'4" to 13'6", those 2" put it out of reach for me. That height might be okay out west or in the south where the roads are newer but here in the Northeast there are still roads built to the old school standards. Two I use are the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast extension and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel which both have clearance of 13' 6". If it would make a difference it would be nice if Alliance offered it with a low profile roof AC, adding a heat pump to the option might make it appeal to even more people.

I don't have personal experience with it but it's the first FW to GN conversion that seems to be OK'd by Lippert who makes most chassis systems Generally speaking.. I'm not a fan of changing hardware like that but Goosenecks can be nice for the way they articulate and roll But.. fifth wheel hitches (nicer ones) can have some great cushion to them many GN's lack
The chest storage beside the couch is a downer, as opposed to front storage doors. Why? In our Reflection, we have table lamps for a more residential feel, and they are secured to the side tops with museum putty so that they don’t have to be put away each travel day. Very convenient. However, many other features of this unit are very nice.
WhooooWeeeeee! That is one spacious fifth wheel! EVERYWHERE! The only thing I don’t like is the stairs to the bathroom and bedroom on the wrong side of the camper. Bedroom TV is a bit small!
@@dianedenham5259 until your out traveling and can’t get to the bedroom, when the stairs are on the passenger side of the unit you are able to access the bathroom and bedroom while on the road which is unimaginably better when on a trip.
@@Masterchief68 : Then this is not a layout for *you*, doesn't mean it is wrong. This size & luxury of this 5th wheel is going to spend most of its life in an RV resort.
I think Alliance makes a very nice trailer but I've had family members bring up that the corner nose wash/dryer setup means you'll need to climb (or deep lean) into the closet and push around your hanging clothes when doing laundry. The clearance in the closet from the hang bar to the integrated shelves also seems narrow compared to other brands. It is similar with the Paradigm and Avenue.
I lack personal experience actually using the setup so I'll certainly defer to theirs. There's a lot of talk about washer/dryers in this industry but still less than half of W/D prepped RVs ever have one installed. It often feels to me like something MFGs are doing "because that's what people expect to see" and not so much because people actually use it.
My one big concern with this floor plan is I see NO pantry. So much space but no dedicated pantry? That’s a tough one to get past…..I also wish the W/D hookup was in the slide closet next to the bed and not the front cap. I hate giving up my hanging closet space for a W/D.
Not a direct pantry really no. But it has a LOT of cabinet space all around if you really look at it as a whole. I don't feel it's lacking in that area but that's just one nerd's take on it
Random question as I hear Josh mention it a lot - why have floor vents fallen out of favour? We just replaced our older RV with a somewhat newer one and the older one had cabinet ducting where the newer one has floor. Both work IMO.
Marketing. Admittedly largely by grand design who is very strong in that way But to be fair most people don’t need the better heating from floor vents and enjoy the easier cleaning of no floor vents

@@BaddDukk Yeah. it's the marketing factor. Floor heating is nice for keeping the feet warm and doesn't get the credit I feel it deserves There are big benefits to both systems but I hope floor heating sticks around for the colder-climate models
Since you asked about CPAP and the side stands, a normal/"full-size" machine would likely not fit on those side stands. A travel CPAP might, but most people don't have one.

I see two problems with this RV. First is the crappy tires. Step up to the next level Alliance and put top of the line tires on this RV. I recommend Goodyear tires. The second problem is a nit pic. The pass through storage is HUGE. It needs some type of tie down system. I'm not talking about crank down ratchet strap type tie downs. All that I suggest is a system to secure bungie cords and cargo nets. A lot of roads are in poor to trashed state. I don't want my stuff in the pass through to go sliding around or bouncing all over the place. I think that this is a great RV and it is a winner.
Tie downs in the belly would be solid. Thankfully with the flooring in there some could certainly be added. You have solid points for sure. I feel like both could be managed generally speaking
They use G rated tires which have a great track record so far among the owners, yes many still replace them. But putting on 2K worth of goodyear tires is going to do nothing but drive the price up.
This is more of a nice to have rather than a need but I wouldn't say no to a small frosted glass privacy window near head height to maintain privacy and let more light in, as well as make the space feel bigger.

I really like the design, but I would like to see the electrical cord inside a compartment so no one disconnects or steals it. As a bonus, you could also put it on a power real.
So I’ve been looking at front living campers but a friend who just bought a new camper recently told me two different dealers talked him out of a front living. They told him the resale value was horrible. Could you give some insight on why that is?
What?! lol I have a theory they didn't have any front livings in stock so they were trying to talk someone out of buying them. They're a well established floor plan at this stage. I've never seen any data showing a front living floor plan nose dives in resale as compared to a common rear living. I'd really need to see actual data on it. What is true currently: Used FW values are down due to market conditions. But that's true regardless of floor plan layout.

Would someone explain to me why RV manufactures seem to always put in much smaller black tank than gray tank. I mean do the manufactures not drink beer? I like the floorplan and I have heard that Alliance makes some fine quality units.
I'm getting ready to do everything I can to hurt Bish's. I bought an Alta from you guys in December. On the drive home the bathroom door pulled all the mounting screws out and fell out causing damage to the frame and the door. Bish's just called me and said warranty denied coverage and I can pay to fix it myself. Josh, I need you to get involved and show that you and Bish's actually give a crap about your customers because selling garbage products and then not standing by them is what people actually need to know about you guys right now. Please help me sort this out and save the reputation of your company.
My Keystone Alpine 3790FK self-destructed in only 5 months. Frame bent at the axles and then rolled under. Didn't buy from Bish's though. Keystone refused to honor the warranty and said that I had to be impacted on the door side for that to happen. When I sent them more pictures of the undamaged sides of the rig, they said that I had to have been impacted at axle level. I think my insurance is going to sue them! Both 12" I-beams bent and folded at the same location. Kitchen slide failed the first month. DVD player never worked. Non-door-side side marker fell off. Sliding bedroom door fell off twice, stripping the screws out of the particle board door. Auto-leveling quit working. Electric fireplace quit working. Just a major hunk of junk!!!!
@@scotttunstall9513 I reluctantly bought from bishs because Josh seems to be trying to fix their image. They are known for abysmal service and lack of care for their customers so I’m hoping Josh will have enough character to suggest his company stand behind their products and treat a customer well. Until this issue is resolved I will be warning everyone I can to avoid bishs, especially the one in meridian Idaho. They recently had to replace all their management because of how pathetic their management was but this new lot seems to be just as bad.

In the phone call yesterday your company, Bishs, straight up said the warranty work was denied, this is what east to west sent me: Good morning, My name is Jessica and I handle customer relations here at East to West. We took another look at this claim. The claim was originally authorized to be repaired. We are changing the claim to authorize a replacement. If there is anything else we can assist with, please do not hesitate to reach out.. So why is east to west saying they authorized repairs while your company said they denied everything?
I would love to see more pantry space but have to admit the bathroom has room for a litter box. A lot of RVs don’t have room anywhere I would want to place one.
Love Alliance but that layout, with the stairs on the drivers side, makes it tough to get to the bed when just stopping for the night like in Cracker Barrel or when you can’t open your slide. I prefer at minimum the ability to get to my bed and toilet.

@@shadowdraxx Well for starters. They delivered it with full holding tanks, a 1200+ mile trip. One of the dump handles was in the open position during that trip. Went to connect sewer hose and had a really crappy situation on my hands. On top of that, the dump handles are stuck and bent. Then the furnace smell’s just like the water that came out of the tanks. It also had a burnt out heating element in the water heater. There are signs of water damage in several places. They tell me they clean it during PDI, it arrives filthy, not just dust, dirty socks and garbage on the floors. Then as I’m going through the cabinets I find a repair order…… 2 pages of substantial water damage and structural damage which was undisclosed. These rigs are not cheap, even used. I know it’s a used rig, but I was expecting more for what It cost.

the phrase is "cut Muster" not musturd. I am not familiar enough with that term to know why it exists but I suspect its the opposite of "pass muster" or "passing muster" I could google it... but don't care enough to either

No doubt this camper is the way to go but way too large for a first timer like me if I could buy this camper I would have it put permanent somewhere on a beach site , lake site or mountains and use it as much and when I could.
I saw this getter at the show this past weekend. Layout is nice but fit and finish are well.........cheap. Unfinished looking edges and things that you know won't hold up with real regular use. I know this is not a "luxury" product, so it is probably well suited to its price point, but it just wasn't for us. Maybe is Josh came with it and lived in the basement, i would re consider.

All entry steps need to be a minimum of 11" deep. Period. I don't stand on top step to unlock. You just have to back off to open the door. Bad planning.
LMFAO!!! So, sadly, most other manufacturers including toy haulers don’t want you carrying water even though you may have purposely bought the RV to carry 100 gallons of water or more to an off grid location to enjoy your toys😢😢😢

I really love it except the interior cabinets are hodge podge all through and way too many colors of trim, moldings, cabinets 🤯✋ color multi-personality disorder. Blahs! It makes me want to paint it all. And that price bracket I shouldnt need to.
They are a Chinese brand. We had their ST trailers on our old Micro Minnie and never had any problems but they were overrated load range D on a trailer spec'ed for load range C. I couldn't tell you if we just got lucky or if the upgrade was intentional. We had a bit over 10K miles on them when we got rid of the trailer and they were about a year from aging out. I was going to go with Endurance tires when I replaced them.

The individual water shut off valves and that they leave you an access panel!!!! legitimately has just changed my whole view on rv bands. They ligit show they listen to full time rvs. And how they are designed to carry water weight. I just. Wow on this one👌👌👌

We have owned our 340 RL for a year now. Other than a few minor issues that Alliance handled like no other manufacturer, this unit has been problem free, well built and very comfortable for extended traveling.. Great unit, great company!!

@@JoshtheRVNerd our friends who have a Alliance Avenue camped with us this weekend. Their antenna booster switch failed and was supposed to be on Friday morning. When it didn't show up, Alliance authorized them to go to Walmart and buy a portable antenna for their TV and over-nighted a check to reimburse them for the expense. What other company would do this. And by the way, they answered his email at 5 am Saturday morning.
Just bought a 2022 340RL at the Quartzite RV show last month. Having solar and washer/dryer installed from my previous rig. It should be ready for us to pick up next week. Can't wait to get back out on the road!

Nice! I visualize it more as a destination rig than something to be hauled regularly. Or, perhaps, a long road trip with leisurely stops to explore areas along the way. :-) Lack of bedroom and freezer access for emergency stops isn't too bad. A little planning goes a long way: Ice in a bag inside a soft cooler in the refrigerator, as well as refrigerated food that doesn't require heating/cooking; tuck a few extra clothes/linens in the main area for an emergency overnight stay without opening the slides.
I love the individual shutoff valves on all of the water lines! We did that when we renovated our pre-owned TT. Everyone told us we were overthinking it! 🙃
Storage behind the fireplace is nice, along with other storage tucked into various places. And I always appreciate the enclosed...Hmmm...My brain just went blank! Docking station? Water fill, kill switch, etc. And the service panel! SWOON! LOL Obviously, a proponent of form follows function. 🙃
I also like the option for a generator--and more solar! While we primarily rely on solar and batteries, the generator as backup to the sun to recharge the batteries is nice. It can be run during the day to top off the batteries--usually just an hour or two when the weather doesn't cooperate for several days!
As much as I like fifth wheels, we discovered during our search that I can't hook one up to the truck. We agreed going into the search that both of us have to be able to take care of essentials in an emergency. One of us may be able to do things better or more quickly than the other, but both can do what is necessary to get us on the road. Sadly, my mobility issues combined with being vertically challenged, preclude a fifth wheel.
But this will be close to perfect for many people! :-)

I tend to see these bigger models similarly. I know some folks do tow them, but especially with that bedroom layout cut off in transit it feels more like a destination-use model to me.
I'm similar in function over fashion. I need it to work. We'll worry about it being "pretty" later

As a Home Theater buff, I really value the fact that the recliners are directly across from the TV. But, and you knew there would be a but.. The TV is too small. For an optimal viewing experience, the seating distance should be twice the diagonal measure of the TV. In this case, the seating position is about 130" from the TV, which calls for a 65" screen. I understand the space constraint, but if you really want to develop a passionate customer base.. have your engineers factor in the Home Theater effect. Especially considering the "Full-timer" element. And it's wonderful to finally have a manufacturer that is embracing real-time technology! The solar options with realistic power output versus some useless 100 watt panel is great!

This is flat out the RV I would buy when I’m ready. Only design change I would make is remove the left bedside stand so there would be room for a real King mattress instead of the RV King. Really don’t need that side stand since you already have that open cabinet right there. But you hit the nail on the head, this layout has such a residential feel to it. Also happy to see that Alliance got rid of the gold cabinet hardware and went with black. Thanks for the awesome videos!

Really like the little storage benches in the bedroom. The one knock I have is the door right next to the awning arm. Someone needs to come up with a light-weight shield that attaches to the awning arm to deflect water.
When I see this floorplan and I compare it with every other toy hauler floorplan, I am totally confident in my assessment that if you have no toys to haul then this is 100% more comfortable and livable👍👍👍

Definitely a great system. That large full sized shower with seat was insane. Loved the master bedroom layout and all the storage it had. The weight of the trailer is okay….the hitch weight for my truck leaves no room. Otherwise, if I were in the market, it would be a definite go looker. Awesome job Josh.

Hi Josh, one thing I’d like to see Alliance add to this fifth wheels is a central vacuum. I love the units that have the electric dust pan, very easy to keep the floor clean, especially if you have a dog or children.

We really liked this floorplan, we had a reverse walkup Sabre years ago and really liked the feel of seporation....but for us the deal breaker was lack of inside storage, no pantry, ...outside its fine.
Beautiful! You're right, the hall away from the door makes it feel more dedicated and so gives it a better home feel.
About the side stand areas. It really surprised me that and east-west would be more popular than a north-south bed set up. East-west has always been the immediate nope, because of the lack of space for the PAP machine. Those itty-bitty shelves are only good for holding a phone. They would need to be twice as wide to think about putting a PAP on them. North-south have decent sized side tables.

I watched your factory tour, too, and I'm glad there's some manufacturers finally focusing on longevity and serviceability. (There seems to be a lot of "FEMA-style" trailers on the market nowadays) As for this one, I'd like to have access to the bedroom in road mode, but the couch will do in a pinch.

Cut the mustard is a take on pass the muster which was a military inspection. If you did well you passed the muster. If your troop did exceptional then before you went on leave your troop would not have to be subject to another inspection and you cut the muster. Some time in history mistook the saying as pass the muster or cut the muster as cut the mustard.

I love that my viewers look into this. Someone hit me up last night & shared a case based on farming in which mustard plants were grown similarly to corn & harvested by hand. Their stalks were robust and difficult to cut down. So you needed a good blade that "Cut the Mustard"

I dig a stair on the poop side.. It's classy, and I'm not gonna quibble over lost storage behind the tv, it makes sense, or it won't pivot! Besides, with all that space available behind the tootsie toaster, large enough to stuff an annoying preteen! All that storage in the basement wow.. I could get a couple of folding ebikes in there with all my crap I already have.. That bathroom is just about perfect. I'm with you, nerd, but m function over form, and my wife would loose her apples with white cupboards in kitchen.. She prefers the HOA wood tones.. The oak is light enough not gie off cave vibes... I like it mucho!

The wife and I checked this model along with the 310Rl and both of us prefer the 310. I think the kitchen pantry was better in the 310 as well as the fact that when in your bed , it was hidden behind the bathroom unlike the 340 where you can see the bed from the kitchen. Just felt off.

Great floor plan was a strong contender between the 310 and 370, but… it doesn’t have a good pantry. Crazy thing is the Avenue lineups actually has adjustable shelves in their pantries.

I've like pretty much all of the Alliance 5th wheels I've seen. If we were large trailer folks, the trailers not us, they would be one of the top brands on our list. Now for the important question:
When will we get a chance to see the new Alliance travel trailers? When they announced them last fall they said they would be launching them this summer. I would think they should have or be very close to having some product prototypes we could sneak peak anytime now.
When I visited the factory recently I was given some insights into that. Word is they're working on a lineup now and have some prototypes estimated over the next few months
I suspect we'll see more of a fall launch for them. Maybe late summer
@@JoshtheRVNerd Some trailers in the 23 - 25 ft box and 25 - 28 ft overall lengths with a fixed queen bed , or the option, and a 30X36 shower would great.
I just discovered the Alliance RV brand last summer, I especially like the Paradigm 385FL! But from last summer and the 2022 model year to the current 2023 year the height went from 13'4" to 13'6", those 2" put it out of reach for me. That height might be okay out west or in the south where the roads are newer but here in the Northeast there are still roads built to the old school standards. Two I use are the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast extension and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel which both have clearance of 13' 6". If it would make a difference it would be nice if Alliance offered it with a low profile roof AC, adding a heat pump to the option might make it appeal to even more people.
Chances are it was always the same height. Factory measurements are often close but need hand verification.

I don't have personal experience with it but it's the first FW to GN conversion that seems to be OK'd by Lippert who makes most chassis systems
Generally speaking.. I'm not a fan of changing hardware like that but Goosenecks can be nice for the way they articulate and roll
But.. fifth wheel hitches (nicer ones) can have some great cushion to them many GN's lack
The chest storage beside the couch is a downer, as opposed to front storage doors. Why? In our Reflection, we have table lamps for a more residential feel, and they are secured to the side tops with museum putty so that they don’t have to be put away each travel day. Very convenient. However, many other features of this unit are very nice.
WhooooWeeeeee! That is one spacious fifth wheel! EVERYWHERE! The only thing I don’t like is the stairs to the bathroom and bedroom on the wrong side of the camper. Bedroom TV is a bit small!

I think Alliance makes a very nice trailer but I've had family members bring up that the corner nose wash/dryer setup means you'll need to climb (or deep lean) into the closet and push around your hanging clothes when doing laundry. The clearance in the closet from the hang bar to the integrated shelves also seems narrow compared to other brands. It is similar with the Paradigm and Avenue.
I lack personal experience actually using the setup so I'll certainly defer to theirs.
There's a lot of talk about washer/dryers in this industry but still less than half of W/D prepped RVs ever have one installed.
It often feels to me like something MFGs are doing "because that's what people expect to see" and not so much because people actually use it.
My one big concern with this floor plan is I see NO pantry. So much space but no dedicated pantry? That’s a tough one to get past…..I also wish the W/D hookup was in the slide closet next to the bed and not the front cap. I hate giving up my hanging closet space for a W/D.
Not a direct pantry really no. But it has a LOT of cabinet space all around if you really look at it as a whole. I don't feel it's lacking in that area but that's just one nerd's take on it
Random question as I hear Josh mention it a lot - why have floor vents fallen out of favour? We just replaced our older RV with a somewhat newer one and the older one had cabinet ducting where the newer one has floor. Both work IMO.
Marketing. Admittedly largely by grand design who is very strong in that way
But to be fair most people don’t need the better heating from floor vents and enjoy the easier cleaning of no floor vents

Since you asked about CPAP and the side stands, a normal/"full-size" machine would likely not fit on those side stands. A travel CPAP might, but most people don't have one.

I see two problems with this RV. First is the crappy tires. Step up to the next level Alliance and put top of the line tires on this RV. I recommend Goodyear tires. The second problem is a nit pic. The pass through storage is HUGE. It needs some type of tie down system. I'm not talking about crank down ratchet strap type tie downs. All that I suggest is a system to secure bungie cords and cargo nets. A lot of roads are in poor to trashed state. I don't want my stuff in the pass through to go sliding around or bouncing all over the place. I think that this is a great RV and it is a winner.
Tie downs in the belly would be solid. Thankfully with the flooring in there some could certainly be added.

They use G rated tires which have a great track record so far among the owners, yes many still replace them. But putting on 2K worth of goodyear tires is going to do nothing but drive the price up.

GVWR is 11,500. I haven’t taken it in to get it weighed yet. Currently pull a Whitehawk 23 MRB with it but planning to upgrade.
This is more of a nice to have rather than a need but I wouldn't say no to a small frosted glass privacy window near head height to maintain privacy and let more light in, as well as make the space feel bigger.

So I’ve been looking at front living campers but a friend who just bought a new camper recently told me two different dealers talked him out of a front living. They told him the resale value was horrible. Could you give some insight on why that is?

They're a well established floor plan at this stage. I've never seen any data showing a front living floor plan nose dives in resale as compared to a common rear living. I'd really need to see actual data on it.
What is true currently: Used FW values are down due to market conditions. But that's true regardless of floor plan layout.

I'm getting ready to do everything I can to hurt Bish's. I bought an Alta from you guys in December. On the drive home the bathroom door pulled all the mounting screws out and fell out causing damage to the frame and the door. Bish's just called me and said warranty denied coverage and I can pay to fix it myself. Josh, I need you to get involved and show that you and Bish's actually give a crap about your customers because selling garbage products and then not standing by them is what people actually need to know about you guys right now. Please help me sort this out and save the reputation of your company.
My Keystone Alpine 3790FK self-destructed in only 5 months. Frame bent at the axles and then rolled under. Didn't buy from Bish's though. Keystone refused to honor the warranty and said that I had to be impacted on the door side for that to happen. When I sent them more pictures of the undamaged sides of the rig, they said that I had to have been impacted at axle level. I think my insurance is going to sue them! Both 12" I-beams bent and folded at the same location. Kitchen slide failed the first month. DVD player never worked. Non-door-side side marker fell off. Sliding bedroom door fell off twice, stripping the screws out of the particle board door. Auto-leveling quit working. Electric fireplace quit working. Just a major hunk of junk!!!!
@@scotttunstall9513 I reluctantly bought from bishs because Josh seems to be trying to fix their image. They are known for abysmal service and lack of care for their customers so I’m hoping Josh will have enough character to suggest his company stand behind their products and treat a customer well. Until this issue is resolved I will be warning everyone I can to avoid bishs, especially the one in meridian Idaho. They recently had to replace all their management because of how pathetic their management was but this new lot seems to be just as bad.

So why is east to west saying they authorized repairs while your company said they denied everything?
I would love to see more pantry space but have to admit the bathroom has room for a litter box. A lot of RVs don’t have room anywhere I would want to place one.
I actually look for stuff like that but not because we have a cat my dog is actually litter box trained

Love Alliance but that layout, with the stairs on the drivers side, makes it tough to get to the bed when just stopping for the night like in Cracker Barrel or when you can’t open your slide. I prefer at minimum the ability to get to my bed and toilet.
That's a big reason why I feel this is a superior destination-use model whereas this one ua-cam.com/video/n4-iET8cRFI/v-deo.html is definitely better for travel
I like the floor plan in most aspects but unless I missed it, I did not see a pantry on this model.
Lot of storage kind of spread out on this one. Doesn't have a single object I'd point at and call a pantry but things like that entry/coffee bar & cabinet beside it can serve the purpose
I hate the driver side stairs it cuts the access off to the upstairs during travel on most models

I just bought an alliance 385fl from Bish’s. They delivered it to me Saturday. I’m a little more than disappointed so far.

@@shadowdraxx Well for starters. They delivered it with full holding tanks, a 1200+ mile trip. One of the dump handles was in the open position during that trip. Went to connect sewer hose and had a really crappy situation on my hands. On top of that, the dump handles are stuck and bent.
Then the furnace smell’s just like the water that came out of the tanks.
It also had a burnt out heating element in the water heater.
There are signs of water damage in several places.
They tell me they clean it during PDI, it arrives filthy, not just dust, dirty socks and garbage on the floors.
Then as I’m going through the cabinets I find a repair order…… 2 pages of substantial water damage and structural damage which was undisclosed.
These rigs are not cheap, even used. I know it’s a used rig, but I was expecting more for what It cost.

Its a great floorplan but its Long and heavy!! Anybody looking for something comparable about 5-6 feet shorter and 5-6 thousand pounds lighter? ...look at the 264RLS from Highland Ridge
Don't forget the Alliance Paradigm 310RL or the Avenue 310RL. Both at or under 35 feet

the phrase is "cut Muster" not musturd. I am not familiar enough with that term to know why it exists but I suspect its the opposite of "pass muster" or "passing muster" I could google it... but don't care enough to either
Seems like there are two camps on the origin of this one. Either a variation of "pass the muster" or based on farming techniques in which mustard plants were cut similarly to corn requiring sharp tools

No doubt this camper is the way to go but way too large for a first timer like me if I could buy this camper I would have it put permanent somewhere on a beach site , lake site or mountains and use it as much and when I could.

I saw this getter at the show this past weekend. Layout is nice but fit and finish are well.........cheap. Unfinished looking edges and things that you know won't hold up with real regular use. I know this is not a "luxury" product, so it is probably well suited to its price point, but it just wasn't for us. Maybe is Josh came with it and lived in the basement, i would re consider.

All entry steps need to be a minimum of 11" deep. Period. I don't stand on top step to unlock. You just have to back off to open the door. Bad planning.
LMFAO!!! So, sadly, most other manufacturers including toy haulers don’t want you carrying water even though you may have purposely bought the RV to carry 100 gallons of water or more to an off grid location to enjoy your toys😢😢😢

I really love it except the interior cabinets are hodge podge all through and way too many colors of trim, moldings, cabinets 🤯✋ color multi-personality disorder. Blahs! It makes me want to paint it all. And that price bracket I shouldnt need to.

I don't know much about Westlake tire brand. Are those "China bombs"? If so, Shame on them for not putting on quality tires.
They are a Chinese brand. We had their ST trailers on our old Micro Minnie and never had any problems but they were overrated load range D on a trailer spec'ed for load range C. I couldn't tell you if we just got lucky or if the upgrade was intentional. We had a bit over 10K miles on them when we got rid of the trailer and they were about a year from aging out. I was going to go with Endurance tires when I replaced them.
I'm with you bro, I was just talking with one of their reps today about how I appreciate the way they actually take care of our customers instead of trying to figure out ways not to.
