    Great video. Would have been nice to have shown what tools/socket used for the sway bar links.

      Thanks for watching. I used basic hand tools . The exception was a pneumatic gun on some parts just for speed.

    Nice explanation. Can you do this with the vehicle on ramps or does the wheels need to hang?

    • @willpoweredgarage969
      @willpoweredgarage969  5 місяців тому +1

      You can do it on ramps assuming bolt wheels are up on the ramps so the load is even. Thanks for watching!

      If you are talking about the mount bushings check these numbers out. OEM / Interchange Numbers: 05105878AA, 5105878AA . Make sure to measure your sway bar diameter to make sure it is correct.

      The name of the one I usually use is called Sil Glyde. There are a few different types out there. Just do a google search for Silicon bushing grease. Thanks for watchinig!

    Could you replace the bushings without removing the end links?

    • @willpoweredgarage969
      @willpoweredgarage969  2 місяці тому

      The mount bushing can be replaced with the end links still attached. But chances are that rubber is just as worn and weathered. Thanks for watching.

      Thanks! I understand in most cases the end links will be worn, but I replaced mine a few months ago and didn’t think to also change the sway bar bushings.

    Would this cause the car to move backwards in drive gear and not drive at all?? Tried replacing transmission fluid also

      @willpoweredgarage969  4 місяці тому

      This would have absolutely nothing to do with a failed transmission. Thanks for watcing

    Hey we just did this job and one of the screws on the passenger side broke off into the frame do you have any suggestions on what to do next? We can’t screw the last screw in due to broken screw

    • @Shante059
      @Shante059 2 дні тому +1

      Also it is the front end

    • @willpoweredgarage969
      @willpoweredgarage969  День тому

      Unfortunately the only way to take care of this would be to drill out the broken screw. Assuming it is flush with the subframe. If there is any bit of it sticking out you can try and use locking pliers, like vise grips and a bit of heat to break the rust and it will come right out. Good luck and thanks for watching.
