Appreciate all y'all tuning in! What's your favorite track on the new Foo record?
Hearing Voices
It's so hard to choose and my favorite changes at times so far. But Kind of obsessing over - but here we are and hearing voices
We bought the vinyl (my husband is old school. Record player, stereo system... the whole nine yards). I really liked the first side, but the second side was kind of depressing. But I liked Rescue a lot.
I LOVE THEM ALL!!❤
Love you Dave Grohl & all the Foos!🥰 RIP Virginia; & Taylor Hawkins, we love & miss you!🥰
The Teacher and Rescue.
Dave Grohl is the epitome of class.
But he banned all unvaccinated people from his shows
@@goodmorningsundaymorning4533 Non-NPCs know
@Fatty Catty Are you saying Taylor's death was caused by the vaccine?
@@JamesOsyris Wow, let's condemn someone for doing what's right. Of course he did, as well as many other bands.
@@bradrandolph9631 The vaccine never prevented transmission. You're a fool
It's nice to see Dave being the man who we know and love and he's in a class of his own and the new album you can feel what he's saying
When I heard Rescued a month or so ago, I knew the Foos were back at full speed. Times like these you learn to live again. That was my go to song after my dad died. 😢True artists take the pain and suffering of life and make something beautiful out of it.
Dave is such a great man.
😂
New album is absolutely phenomenal! The best since Wasting Light imo. Thank you Dave and Co. Keep on rocking! RIP Taylor and Dave's mom.
That’s saying a lot. Wasting Light is one of their best. I have the CD, I am waiting for my fiancé to come over to listen to the whole thing, so we can experience it together.
@James Weldon. It's not just the quality of the music, it's the emotional context as well.
Love every single song! Rest brought me to tears. Absolutely beautiful ❤
I need to go re-listen to it. Made me sad because you can tell he's in pain. Lost his mom and Taylor so close together
Love ALL of it BUT Rest is really hard on the heart.
The Teacher might be my favorite song they’ve ever done but Show Me How also. Those two songs are easily my favorite on the album
Dave’s words are impeccable
I love the new album! It's full of amazing lyrics and beautiful melodies! I can't pick a favorite song, but it would probably be between Beyond Me, Hearing Voices, and The Teacher.
No one is talking about Beyond Me, such an epic chorus!!!
@@MrJoemono 👍🏼👊🏼🤘🏼
My heart goes to you dave, and the fighters. Stay strong and go on.
Much love.
So many of us didn't expect them to return so quickly, but I know many of us are very thankful they're pushing through.
I sure didn't, but my wife did. Thank God she was right!
The day the Foos confirmed that they would continue on without Taylor, my girlfriend wondered aloud who would take his place. I told her I was thinking it would probably be Josh Freese. Then, I saw the tribute concerts , and I KNEW he would be the one.
I have been impressed by his drumming ever since he was on a Chris Cornell solo album 20-some years ago.
Congratulations, Foo Fighters!
The album is really personal and I felt it.
So beautiful. A beautiful new album to go along with all the beautiful FF music before it, some beautiful moments at concerts, a beautiful band, and a beautiful frontman.
Whoever doesn’t love DG and this band . . . well, those people are missing out on some great shit.
We love you Dave and Foos. Thanks for being real!
Just beautiful
The album is a gut wrenching Masterpiece and I'd like to believe some of the songs were written for me. My husband who I spent more than half my life with passed and I'm alone lost and as everyone else would love to be Rescued💔
So very sorry for your loss. 🙏🏻♥️
@@fever_spike Thank you...
Go to a FF show!
I have always loved the foo. But straight up honest I have never owned one of thier records until now. "Under you" spoke to me so much. This last year has been brutal with the loss of my mom, a friend and co workers all within a few short months.Depression hit me hard and i am slowly finding my way out. I am not the only one and there is hope. This album has been a huge help. Thank you foo fighters ❤
On Facebook, lots of people are leaving their reactions to the new record on Foo Fighters' fan page. Mostly tears. I can't wait to hear it.
Strait up class act!! Love the Foo Fighters!
There goes my hero, watch him as he goes!
The album rocks. The Teacher is now one of my favorites!!! Thank you For Fighters
Its just a shame Dave sat quietly while media outlets trashed Taylor by saying his death was a drug OD when it was clearly a cardiac episode from the covid jabs they had to get for the tour, but I get it, Dave has the corporate side of the band to think about, and protecting his mates honor and speaking the truth was a lower priority than oppeasing his corporate 'sponsors'.
Rest in peace Taylor, you are dearly missed by all.
Josh Freeze Played in a Perfect Circle of course he is a great drummer. He also plays for the Offspring and many others.
Rescued is just the bomb for me and Under You... I can't wait to see them in December here in Australia!
Fighting for Foo
It's an incredible album! So powerful, passionate and shows the strength within Dave and the rest of the band to carry on. This is already up there with my top 3 favorite albums!
We should be thanking him for gifting us the extraordinary beautiful album
Love it!
What a great letter, sentiment 🙏🏼
Absolutely! \m/
I love this album, specially "Show Me How". Haunting and Beautiful.
I saw them in Columbus a couple weeks ago. It was a great show!
The Teacher is a masterpiece! ❤
By far my favorite album since the colour and the shape. I haven’t loved foos but after losing my mom
In April 22 this is so touching. Very much captures the grieving process so perfectly thru his beautiful voice , guttural screams , and over all vibe
Lost my mother to brain cancer 4 yrs ago. I agree 100%. This album really hits home for me. At 56 the grieving process is still there after 4yrs. It’s all part of it. This album helps. I just wanna say I’m sorry for your loss.
@@Killerklownsfromouterspace at 40 years old I never imagined I would lose my mom at 67 years.. But here we are… this album makes so much sense to me that it sometimes hurts to listen but at the same time is so feeing to know I am not alone in my loss.. I want to say I am very sorry for your loss aswell..
did she get the experimental drug?
@@fuckcensorship69 what kind of question is that really! Disgusting
If ever there was a time where music saved my life, it's BHWA. I too am a drummer, and my best friend and big brother who was a drummer passed away in my arms during a sober NYE. "Under You" and "The Glass" are almost unbearable for me to listen too because it hits soooo damned close to my heart. RIP TH. RIP VR.
What is BHWA?
@@billydamnit But Here We Are
Your videos always get me by brother!
LONG LIVE THE FOO! Thank you!
Thanks for the update. It's hard to pick a favorite track, since the sentiment builds until you reach Rest.
Love the teacher!
The whole album is AMAZING! There are 2 songs that move me. Nothing at All and The teacher. I hope Josh Freese is not just a touring drummer. I hope he is a permanent band member! He is unbelievable….
Love the new album! I wish them a very successful and hardship free 2023.
Hey thanks for this 😊 Josh is incredible. I would have to say The Teacher. It's incredible.
Always keeps it so classy.
Been a drummer since 97. I think I have an old issue of modern drummer w/ Josh on the cover. The guy is a phenom on drums. Sad most people only know about him because of the Foos.
I was introduced to him through APC then Sting and so on.
Best celebrity on earth. How does he keep his head from swelling with so much love pointed at him?
Best record from the foos in a long time
I love the album having to ease myself into it because i just want to cry 💗
Dave is such an amazing Man, As bad as I miss Taylor I was happy to see Josh to get the nod . The new Album is amazing , I haven’t picked out a new favorite tune yet as I need to spin it a few more times.
REST ✌
I'm stoked Josh and joined FF. One of the most talented drummers. I liked Taylor's drumming and am sad what happened to him but I believe the Fighters have a much more skilled drummer.. there I said it.
@rockfeed thanks for the time you devote to your channel. You're doing a great job!
Definetely " the teacher." the song is just great and i love the soundgarden ish sounding guitar riffs in the powerfull ending of the song.
I thought last album was amazing this album is the best album leave ever did and they just keep getting better you'll never see the Foo fighters Dave grohl ever hit in that wall that most bands hit every album from the Foo fighters is been amazing they just keep getting better like wine as he aged Dave grohl just keeps getting better and better like I said our generations John Lennon is Dave grohl
I loce Dave Grohl.
going to a foo concert in september 🤘🎸
Great album. “The teacher” my numero 1.
Thanks.
Phenomenal record that rocks in spite of the nature of the album. Unbelievable. Dave Grohl has mastered this thing called music.
“Hearing Voices” I can’t stop playing.
I cried throughout the whole new album. It touched my heart and soul in a million ways. Not one skippable song. And the collab with H.E.R!!! What?!?!!?
Its freaking EPIC!👊🖖🤘😜👍the teacher is the most favourable song on the album but each song I've heard so far sounds so much so different from each other ,got a really slow quiet song like rest ,then against the enormous thunder of a thousand thunders being the teacher ,long slow melody to ,fast then slow loud n fast concept of writing music that dave brings to the table then that table is like exploding into air with songs like nothing at all and the glass I ❤ it!
Foo fighters of the best rock and roll band rate now they have been for the last 10 years Dave grohl is our generations John Lennon
He killed his drummer. Real class act.
I’ve never seen any reason to hate Dave or the Foo Fighters!
Amazing musicians, humans and fellow fans of the music we all love and listen too.
Remember they’re just humans too, just doing what they love for a living 🫶
I did like "The Teacher" a lot.
FOO FOR-LIFE 🤍
Dave grohl is the keanu reeves of music
But here we are Foo Fighters record is great my favorite song is nothing at all, and hearing voices and the teachers
Nice to hear that. What about the young guy, who was playing the drums?? G
That was Taylor’s son I think you’re referring to
Ok. G
Rescued, Nothing at all, The Glass
Classy. Heartfelt and sincere. I would expect no less from Dave.
Class Act
❤❤
There’s so many reasons to love Dave, but even more so with the sudden passing of Taylor Hawkins and his respectful way he handled that but he’s human as well and his emotions got the better of him at the first tribute concert in England! I have yet to hear all of the new album? But I’ve heard that it’s good! So he and the band are healing ,how well is anyone’s guess but with loss it does take time.❤
His mom had passed only 6 weeks before the London show. I would have been messed up too
Dave loooves that money. Money money money money money
You love money too, dont you?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Dave Grohl made nirvana listen-able.
Just a quick note from the mayor of Rocktown
love my FF's.....but, can anyone explain why the album & song sheet is all white....I can't read any of it?????.......
Thats why i love foo fighters ❤️🩹🤘
I had no idea Virginia Grohl died. Thought she was great!
Oh please. Give it a rest
Dave is an unabashed comic sans fan since forever.
How about he writes a letter apologizing to fans for risking their well being just to attend his show with a leakyvaxxx which has now been proven to be more harmful than helpful....?
Safe and effective eh Dave?
I used to have so much respect for him before that, now I think he's either evil or "R-worded". Never liked his music though.
Great letter but to be honest I’m not feeling the new album at all. I’m sure others love it but for me personally, Back n Forth was the last pound for pound Foo release that I still love very much to this day
Not trying to insult or be insensitive to anyone
Thats just how I hear it
Fair enough that’s the thing about music! We all have different tastes 🤘🙌♥️
That’s cool but Back and Forth was a documentary. Did you mean Wasting Light?
@@ttuclarinet there is a song called back and forth
@@ttuclarinet yes totally
Duh on my part
@@9otyou I’m aware but from the context of the original post it is obvious he was talking about an album, not a song.
Churning up these emotions? Maybe a surprise set at Glastonbury under a different name
I didnt get no letter ???? Well
They all forced the band to get jabbed. Saw it coming.
What exactly did Taylor die from they never said, was it the clot shot???
Only for the vaccinated.
Are the flu fighters still requiring people to be vaxxed to go to their shows?
damn, if we could just trade dave's life for one non npc, the world would be better
Dave needs a new booster shot.
if its not 'sorry we made our concert attendess take a dangerous experimental innoculation' then i'm not interested
Sorry but I really think the Foo Fighters are very overrated. I think Dave Grohl does whatever he can to get in the spotlight whether it's sitting next real rock stars, participating in rock shows, speaking at the rock and roll hall of fames. I never thought he had the clout to do any of that at least not yet. And then he loses a band member which was sad but he's out there promoting it with a tribute, getting everyone he can, a tour, a record. There goes my hero is the most boring song I've ever heard! Just my 2 cents
Get over it though, he brought on his own demise with no regard for the band or his family. Be glad he didn't keel over on stage, it could have been worse. Maybe have drug tests for band members and if they test positive boot them out before they croak and mess up a tour. Might sound harsh but being a drug addict is selfish and affects everyone around them, and they don't give a s.
I'm surprised Danny Carey has a Poodle Grooming service
Drugs are bad mmmkay?
"And lemme tell you something about marijuana. It's bayud, mkay?"
You will not find a bigger fan of Foo's than me. I'm just getting tired of the never-ending "tribute" thing. I also loved the spirit and talent of Taylor. When does it end? Seriously. Now an entire album dedicated... okay I listen. I hear critics shout oh hells yes, while I listen and I'm like... huh? really. I don't hear anything really good to be honest. I'm going to be patient... I want Dave and the gang to impress me, I truly want that. I'm just not hearing it. And I'm sick and tired of the mourning to be honest. It's been a minute... can we continue our lives? Or do we have to constantly mourn those that are pharmaceutical junkies? I don't care if you LOVE Taylor - that is what he was. I also love him. But he was a fool on that aspect of not dying. Take notes kids.
When you get older time flies, so you might feel thankful just by the fact that you're capable to do things you love. Nothing wrong with expressing love and gratitude.
@@incunemusic are you assuming I'm not old? Or maybe you're assuming I don't understand these things. I'm a couple years older than Dave and I have experienced loss of life and heartbreak and many things throughout my life. I chose my words carefully and I stand by them. I wish they would move on.
I just posted above that my last favorite album for them was Back n Forth which was 12 years ago
The last 3 for me (I did like a couple tunes from Sonic Highways ) don’t add up as far as Foo goes imo
@@joeylynch8060 everybody has their own opinion so I'm not going to question yours but by far my favorite album is Wasting Light. You can laugh all you want but I think it's one of the best rock albums ever produced
I take via Dr. Prescription all of the meds Taylor was taking. He wasn't doing heroin. His oversized heart was the problem along with his tremendous anxiety he experienced b4 every show.
Dave Grohl is a sellout to big farma
No disrespect @RockFeed or any of the fans , I love dave, I think he's a great guy. What bothers me is he never made a public statement after taylor passed ( if he did, it got by me ) . I haven't heard the new cd yet . But a lot of people know that he pushed taylor to tour when he said he was exhausted & burnt out & needed a break. R.I.P Taylor 😭
You must not have looked very hard if you missed it lol.
I’m sorry but how do u know that
Are you actually freinds with Taylor Hawkins
