Camping out of a Haversack - Survival Oilskin Tarp & Wool Poncho

- In this video I took a short trek into the woods with my waxed canvas haversack. The gear that I keep in here is heavy duty and I wanted to test it's capabilities in an overnight scenario.
There were a couple of things that didn't go according to plan, but overall, it was a good trip. It's always nice to get out and camp!
Temperatures got down to right around 60°F overnight. Perfect, in my opinion!
This Survival Oilskin Tarp by Bushcraft Spain is a perfect size for a haversack. Paired with the other things in the pack, it worked really well for a simple overnighter, and I'm confident I could set up camp without issue in the event of an emergency.

Now a days with all the wild fires, might not always be the case.

Hello, I love your minimalist concept for having a good time in nature. Greetings from Switzerland :)
Thank you for watching! 👍
Nice outing…You obviously wanted a fire in front of your plow point tarp so didn’t tie it to one tree…but did you know you could have made a ridge line between the same trees and attach your point to it??? Would have saved a young tree in those sparse woods you are in…Please only cut down trees if no other options are available. Have fun stay safe.
Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate that!
Do you use a haversack?

Dont kill live trees. I bet there are dead as well.
This will have zero effect on the woodland. In fact, new shoots will grow in it's place.
