“They’re not so many girls who would do this.” Out of the many there’s always one who would do it. Congratulations to you both and more blessings. Love the color grading. 🙏
I mean...if this ain't inspiring and generally making you feel good, I don't know what is! These short films are so well made and I eagerly look forward to each and every one. Cody, brother, the editing is spot on - well-paced, great choice of soundtrack, really really well done! And the amount of effort that would go into these - the mountaineering, let alone the filming, it really is inspiring. So happy to see this channel become what it is. Cody and Victoria are the A-team! You both get along so well. I find myself smiling often lol. Another great vid guys! Bravo!
My dude!! Thanks so much for the compliments. These videos ain't easy that's for sure. We're constantly trying to step it up. Hoping to bring better stories and cinematography in the future 🤙🏼
@@codyandvictoria Keep doing you guys man! The style is so good. When I think about the kind of videos I want to start doing, out of all the people I follow, I would likely be striving to mimic you guys...with my own twist of course!
We have a curfew and probably heading towards a third lockdown here in France, so Thank You for making us dream of waking up in the wild while we're stuck at home for the most part. Love your videos and your energy ~francesca
That was an unbelievable spot. What a great wilderness- nature view during the day and then a town lighting up at night. I often tell snowmobile riders and campers out west how fortunate you are to have such terrain and freedoms. This doesn’t exist with such abundance on the east coast .
Thanks for creating this episode - I did not know about Mt Tulac, though we lived right under it at Fallen Leaf lake. The fun fact: The lake was created by at least two glaciers that traveled northward down the Glen Alpine Valley. If the glacier had continued instead of stopping, Fallen Leaf Lake would be a bay of Lake Tahoe, similar to nearby Emerald Bay.
What happened guys?!?! Your channel is now completely off the road (see what I did there?) and I just looooooved it! More of these please! Greetings for you both and a big hug from Mexico! (BTW, just received my brand new a6000 yesterday, and big part of the encouragement to get it was from this channel) Cheers!
Love this... Inspirational Motivational but I'm 54 and my wife is 52 so maybe we will just do a Winter Train Ride lol We would love to see Tahoe eventually. Ireland is our next Adventure
Hi you guys! My dog Bear and I were your sole visitors at the top to witness your awesome camp site and see the sunset! And then hike down in the dark. Obviously we made it home safely!
That sunset is so beautiful, thanks for sharing it with us! I often go up hill here to just see the sunset seek deep into the alps, nothing better then that.
Truly you guys are the best in the business at adventure vids. Love you style, love the content, and love you guys. Keep up the great content. I hope you all are well!
What a great video, did not feel like it was 14 minutes long! Those views are so worth climbing to the top and spending a night 😍 keep up the great video editing Cody 😁
45 years in so cal and I have somehow never layed eyes on lake Tahoe. Kind of a crime but I only discovered the Sierras about 6 years ago so Im still catching up. And HELL YEAH for a pretty girl that hikes with us ugly monkeys. They're the best. Thanks ladies.
I just discovered your channel from my explore page and can I just say that your videos are incredible! My boyfriend and I just booked a month long Airbnb in CO in late spring and will be working and adventuring from there, your videos have me so excited!
This is some awesome content, you guys! If you don't mind me sharing this thought, I think you guys should try having a hot tent with a lightweight stove! I believe this would make such a huge difference in how you guys experience winter camping by eliminating the discomfort from the cold when you're trying to relax in your tent. Super worth it!
I would recommend maybe taking a trip to Joshua Tree NP , I'm a retired ranger from there and I suggest the California Hiking and Riding Trail . Great channel ! Love it !
These video notification are the best to see pop up on my phone! Once again awesome trip! awesome views! and most important great story! Also just noticed me and my girlfriend aren’t the only ones that call each other babe. The use of the word “Babe” is not dead as weird as that sounds 😂😂😂
I love this video. I’ve been up to the top idk 10years ago or so. Just looking at the video makes me wanna go back. I was at the donner tunnels last weekend which was fun, thinking about doing the Tahoe Rim during the summer. Love the video new sub, definitely gonna watching more videos. Thanks ago
First time stumbling across your channel. What a beautiful camp spot, and stunning weather, if you watch the average Scottish equivalent we can't see anything :-) stunning and very chilled . ATB from Scotland.
Would have been a great night for some astrophotography! Awesome video! makes me miss home so much. Can't wait to get back to the mountains! I've always wanted to hike to the top of my home mountain to spend the night ans take time lapses and star photos. This makes me have hope for the future.
My partner and I decided to do a sunrise hike on Tallac a year or so ago, and gave ourselves waaaay too much time - short story, we accidentally "slept" on top of Tallac from 3am-5am in 20º weather😅 won't make that mistake again, but the sunrise over South Lake was so worth it!
All your video's are great and inspiring! My wife and I want to climb Mt. Whitney in May. February 1 they release the permits, shhhhhhh! If not Whitney then Mt. Shasta. Keep up the great work. We also want to visit Lake Tahoe too!, maybe we'll climb Mt. Tallac
Another great video, especially for us in the uk who are in yet another lockdown, your videos are a great way to detach form the crazyness👍. Not seen the rooftop tent for a few videos, is it going to make a winter appearance 🤔
Awesome video! How much did yalls packs weigh on this trip with all of your gear and video gear? Always interested in the weight filmmakers backpacks since some go ultralight and others don’t mind the weight.
I love the way Cody Blue has evolved into this lovely peaceful channel.
Mountains, nature and planet 💚 is more peaceful than we imagine
We love it too. Good times and peaceful vibes. Thanks for staying with us

At the exact point he said that I was thinking “I hope I find a dude who’s down to do this stuff!”
No joke. Such a good job shooting this and storytelling. Absolutely gorgeous and no easy task to capture this on the run and climbing a mountain.
Thanks for noticing the work that goes into these videos 🙏🏼🙏🏼 so happy people enjoy them
Your storytelling improved so much over the years, always a pleasure to watch your films!
🙏🙏🙏
I'm usually the one dragging my husband up the mountain, so the adevnturous girls- we are out there!

I've lived in the Tahoe region my entire life. Tallac holds a special place in my heart. A beautiful video for a beautiful mountain.
We have a curfew and probably heading towards a third lockdown here in France, so Thank You for making us dream of waking up in the wild while we're stuck at home for the most part.

Victoria your voice reassures me that there will be a tomorrow. So good to see a couple live so well together
I can be a little insecure about my voice but I'm glad it can be soothing to some 💙🙏 Thanks for watching!

Sights are amazing but the sound quality is epic! Thank you for sharing!!!
And already amazing channel is now even better. Truly enjoy these films.
Love this... Inspirational Motivational but I'm 54 and my wife is 52 so maybe we will just do a Winter Train Ride lol We would love to see Tahoe eventually. Ireland is our next Adventure
It’s like a documentary vlog climbing the summit.
Sweet camping spot. My last Tahoe snowshoeing attempt turned out into a microspikes day. The video reminded me that I eventually need full crampons.
You just never know. Spikes would have been fine but we like to be over prepared. Don't wanna get stuck up there
Every time I look at Mt. Tallac I'll think of this video. Fantastic job!
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Hi you guys! My dog Bear and I were your sole visitors at the top to witness your awesome camp site and see the sunset! And then hike down in the dark. Obviously we made it home safely!
Aaron! What's up man! 😂 We were worried about you haha. Glad you're safe

I'm envious of all the empty trails you guys seem to have in Tahoe. Great video and looks like it was a fun adventure! Keep it up!

You guys are crazy for camping in the snow! I'm in California and just got snow yesterday... Went out there for 30 minutes and nearly froze hahaha
Amazing experience! Thx for sharing. I wonder if people in the town could see your lights? And, bring a toboggan next time! Quicker descent! Lol
