They are so ridiculously talented together.
Voilà de vrai artistes,ce que l'on ne vois pas en France.dans sentiments qui passent dans la musique parce que la chose essentiel c'est d'être humble,même si tu est bon. These are real artists, what we don’t see in France.Feelings that go into music because the essential thing is to be humble, even if you are good.
So organic, yet at the same time so flawless. amazing.
Two incredible talents create amazing synergy on this simple old hymn.
Wow, what a phenomenal cover and take. Sometimes you can just feel when God is in music and his message is being spread. This tune will never age. God bless you all
About as close to perfection as it gets.
Such a beautiful blend between these two 👍🏼
So good! Beautiful harmony and the sound of the guitar and mandoline is fantastic!
octave mandolin also seen here...ua-cam.com/video/h73qzaGalZg/v-deo.html
Love this version!
Never heard two people harmonize so great.Amazing.
google tony rice and ricky skaggs
Just lovely.
I saw her at The Rice Fest in Fischer,Tx.in 2000-2001 when she performed on mandolin (she was awesome). She was attending high school in Wimberly,Tx. So happy to see her fame keep soaring to the Heavens.
So beautiful.
J'aime beaucoup, merci !
Just wonderful
When Chris plays the mandolin.... I close my eyes And I can see the stars in the Sky...
Absolutely beautiful!,,,
Truly great stuff
the break that chris plays at 1:41 is so pure
The lady has a beautiful voice.
Beautiful
Real music 👌
Great song. Great harmony.
Good stuff. Two excellent musicians.
Lovely Sarah, Nice Tune!
Bravo...!
Great!
A beautiful rendition of a classic. This is how it is done.
Oh damn, she’s so good! (Chris, we know you’re good, too). 🤓
This is amazingly great
Amazed, but not surprised. Not by these two!
Glad I watched this. Excellent performance by both musicians. Love it as much as Josh Turner and his friend Myles, see "Josh Turner Guitar" channel. (Not the country star Josh Turner.)

The lost Nicki Minaj fans must have read this and been scared off.
There's one dislike! Oooh, wouldn't wanna be them.... 😏😏😏
Great
wowwwwwww
Beautiful. Another great musician sitting Stage Right, Aoifa O’Donovan. Where was Sara Watkins?
She is an exact ,identical copy (physically) of my wife. Have seen her in many videos, Thank G-d, so blessed!
Now that's good pickin' !
So few comments on something so good.
Enjoy this version but my heart will always be with Ricky Skaggs and Tony Rice's version.
I concur
Very nice and the singing was perfect. It would be better if they split the lyrics like th eoriginal. It makes it such a fun and unique experience that way.
When did Jude law learn to play mandolin?
Chris and John Mayer would do something crazy
I'd like to hear them both on mandolin together.
As good as Sarah is on mandolin, I think she understands that 'Chris has this' and she can enjoy playing a good guitar to fill in the sound. The best musicians don't need to play lead all the time.
Sarah is actually playing her Fletcher Brock octave mandolin in this song. If you look at it there are 8 strings/tuning machines.
@ Scott Christian I am embarrassed to admit I knew Sarah is wont to play what I think of a Mandola, which you describe. I should have looked and listened closer. I guess if they both played the same type of instrument it would be a competition of sound rather than the complementary effect we hear.
flamencoprof I now understand what you were looking for... a mandolin on mandolin strum-off! Also, you taught me something-I didn’t realize it was also referred to as a Mandola!
@ Scott Christian Thanks for your tolerant and understanding reply. (That strum-off would be nice to hear though :-)
The universe ships these two hard
THE GOSPEL SIMPLY REQUIRES YOU TO PLACE ALL OF YOUR FAITH IN
THE DEATH, BURIAL & RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST
AND THE BLOOD HE SHED ON THE CROSS
FOR YOUR SALVATION
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that…
CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS
according to the scriptures;
and that he was BURIED,
and that he ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures:
(1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
…And having SPOILED principalities and powers,
he made a shew of them openly, TRIUMPHING over them in it.
(Colossians 2:15)
…That we should be to the praise of his glory, who FIRST TRUSTED in CHRIST,
In whom ye also TRUSTED, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also AFTER that ye BELIEVED, ye were SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise. (Ephesians 1:12-13)
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven,
whereof ye heard before in the WORD of the TRUTH of the GOSPEL;
Which is come unto you, as it is in ALL the world;
and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you,
since the day ye HEARD of it, and KNEW the GRACE of God in TRUTH:
(Colossians 1:5-6)
…GRACE be to you and PEACE from God the Father,
and from our Lord Jesus Christ, who GAVE HIMSELF for our sins,
that he might DELIVER US from this present EVIL WORLD,
according to the will of God and our Father:
to whom be glory for ever and ever.
Amen. (Galatians 1:3)
…ALL have SINNED, and come short of the glory of God…(Romans 3:23)
…JESUS PAID FOR EVERY ONE OF YOUR SINS
…PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE…
BUT YOU MUST TRUST HIM AND WHAT HE DID FOR YOU TO BE FORGIVEN!
Exemplary!
My wife and Sarah look like perfect twins.
Is she playing a Mandolin Guitar?
Basically. Called a mando cello
