@@josephbishop3231 no there are 4 sections of private land on nez perce and only 1 in Africa and Alaska. Only 2 in new eland and I believe only 1 on the newest map
I havent played in a while so maybe this is a baseline settings now but how did u get that insane glow from the first kill at 7:40? If i recall it was very hard to spot the glow unless u were very very close to the kill.
Do you know how to tell different about lions? Like when you explain the antler thing, I notice some bad deer then because of this video. How about Lions? I sorta new and beside some main story spawning 4 stars, haven't gotten a 5 star yet but I want a lion 5 star first so been trying manage my lions (tip about primary habitat was 100% useful) that by using Lion lure to kill small genetics and even more time consuming. Was wondering if you can do video about how to tell bad genetics from look for each animals or lions in my case. Thanks. and keep up the awesome videos.
Explain to me why antler symmetry matters when detecting whether or not a buck has low genetics genuinely curious because im in the beginning stages of the game about 12 hours in and wanna know more about culling a heard like so far im still around bear den ranch and have ruiz private land unlocked but that's it
A buck with irregular antlers is a low genetics animal by definition. Good genetics cause the state records in real life and this can actually be applied irl
If you are patient you can try the primos rattle bag under equipment in the store it will lure out bad genetics animals without needing skills. What I’m doing right now. the trick is keep within 200 m and rattle it multiple times while in the middle of the white bar I’ve gotten out a 14% genetics animal works on whitetail and the mulies
I’ve killed like 56 or 58 in this video In diamond drill I’m pretty sure yes they require less managing but still if you want most your deer to hit 5 you gotta take out the ones that will only hit 3 or so 😊
Yes it was a 58 so yes there is less management like I said but still needs to be done to get the best results. Also in she devil where the elk private land is I killed a 50 percent yesterday but not in this video obviously.
@@YOTE1COYOTE up to u how u want to manage, agree 100% but I am pretty confident that removing a couple 50 to 59 % animals without removing every 50 to 59 animal in that habitat will not improve the respawns appreciably. And with high fits (as game defines above 50 %) not every 50 to 59 % is that visually wonky. Up to effort levels and results u desire. Removing some in that range is not as easy as removing all answer low fit calls. But removing all answering low fit calls will have a huge impact on habitat average genetics.
I’d love to see more like this! Heard management update videos?
Already have it recorded I’m posting tomorrow
I've gotten my 5 star rams and goats managing the herd right outside of Yi's cabin the big lake.
Until recently i just shot everything 1 star, only now i started to look for traits. Somehow i overlooked this part of the game.
Me too brotha i was shooketh lol
I had a buck by itself in a spot that was newly scouted. Has anyone else come across just one deer before in this game?
Yes there’s singles roaming around
Everywhere in these maps is private from what I understand.

Yep basically what he said. You’ll get the hang of it
@@YOTE1COYOTE Im starting to my one question though is bears and wolves is there anyway to tell if s bear is low fitness or not?
Is the way of the hunter hunting season one just the original game with tacked on dlc they’ve released over time?
It includes Aurora Shores DLC and tikamoon plains dlc including a weapon pack
This seems very tedious with so many maps and herds to manage. If you work on a herd, and then leave it, will it degrade over time?
@@shadowhenge7118 pick whatever animals you want to hunt first and do her management for your top priority animal
Heard???
lol good catch I fixed it 😂
86 would haveL made 5s
Private land, u don't need to manage, Just look for trophies. Diamond drill shouldn't have examples of poor fitness
