The amount of blood definitely matters. I'd honestly say that's THE thing to look at to determine if they're alive or not (assuming you can't find the first blood splatter that tells you if they lived). Any time it says medium, they're 100% dead already regardless of the rest. If it says light, they're alive regardless of the rest. When it comes to impurities, that's pretty much only going to give you an idea of where you hit them, which you can just find out a few moments later when you check the body anyways. I've killed many animals where it said the blood was red with no impurities, but it was a medium amount, they still die from the bloodloss. You honestly don't even have to hit a vital organ as long as you hit them with enough energy, those will always say red with no impurities.
Just getting into the game after playing lots of "the game that shant be named" good vid. I'm still scared to shoot anything in case i mess up the gene pool. I think my map is too weak to be worrying just yet (lots of 1 star deer) so Im now just killing all adult and mature 1 stars.
A couple tips i'd add for fellow new comers
You can help yourself spot blood in hunter sense if you go into settings > accessibility and change the "interactive objects and zones" I found this helpful as its default yellow which can be easily lost in the grass.
At the end of this video the video maker placed an exploration marker down where the deer was shot by tapping X (on PC) you can only place 1 and move it with each click.. But if you hold X you place a tracking marker which you can place as many as you like which is really helpful to follow your shot animal in case he takes a little while to die from the lung shot (you can place 1 where you shot him and track him with the scope or your eye and place a few more so if you lose blood you can figure out the direction he was heading in case you need to go back and look again)
I'm glad you liked the video, and yes I will include those other points if I make another beginners guide! Thank you for your comment :)
@AmazingPizza647 All good man. My additions weren't "omg you need to add these" Just if anyone else sees the video they can get some freebies =P
@@Elkee68 yeah lol ofc! thanks for leaving them here for people to see!
This is a very helpful video! I hope that the game will come out with Tree Stands!
Tree stands would be awesome! I'm glad you found this helpful!
I think another tip is to buy the buck rattling bag as soon as possible. This is because even the level one caller can attract low fitness males.
yup, that one is so much better
@@AmazingPizza647 its also good for tikamoon
That and because of the wide array of animals it works for compared to the deer caller. It may only work for bucks, but then again who tf is out there hunting for the does anyways lol.
I have a question how do u remove the yardage markers off the screen cause the in my view ?
I'm not sure, i don't think you can remove them unfortunately
Maybe edit before you post. I don't have all day to listen to your mistakes.
Good Video but try not to ramble so much
Yeah that is one thing I need to stop doing LOL, thanks for the feedback!
