    I would argue that plane crashes would in fact be the most dangerous aviation moments

      Get-there-itis still seems to be a major problem with a lot of pilots from non western countries. Honestly, I think company culture tends to shoulder the burden on that one more that anything.

    • @fakeshrew
      @fakeshrew Рік тому

      @@Rekuzan That's true, most of the procedures are airline-specific. That could've ended pretty badly, glad nothing bad happened.

      @@jordanaustin4253 Well it's just a lot safer. There's a touchdown zone that pilots are supposed to land in, which they probably completely missed. In addition, they PLANTED that plane into the ground so the passengers probably went from negative G to like 2 Gs pretty quick. Not comfortable at all. Lots of things that could've gone wrong, they're lucky nothing did.

    • @rtbrtb_dutchy4183
      @rtbrtb_dutchy4183 Рік тому +1

      @@fakeshrew”probably completely missed” you say. Not good to assume. You have no idea where he touched down.

    An airliner at light weight with max TO thrust can pitch up to 20 degrees for a short period. A747 400 is grossly overpowered at very low zero fuel weights and using max TO thrust. You can get up 5000 fpm rate of climb

    3:34 that airline is Qantas. It’s a Boeing 737-800. This took place at Melbourne Airport in Australia 🇦🇺. The case of the fire was a ground vehicle catching on fire. Although it didn’t spread to the plane it’s self 😊 (btw I’m from Melbourne)

    The A 380 steep climb isn't specially dangerous as for a airshow, the plane is empty with minimum fuel for the show. Besides, Airbus test pilots are a the stick and it's their job.
