- I found this recording on a BBC show dedicated to Bob Dylan and although I had this clip from Top Of The Pops i soon saw it was a different recording/take than the one floating around simply by the hanging hair over Bryan's face. Perhaps I need to get out more?

I suddenly realized how unusual it is to see him dressed like this - in dark coloures. I'm so used to his pristine white shirts! :)

It's often more a grin, not really clear if he's smiling or having a tooth ache... But yeah yeah yeah hold your horses; he is 1873 times better looking than I am. I bow my head to that. And I'm not even talking about his artistic qualities, where I have none. But I definetely have no toothache.
Sounds like the Frantic album track with Bryan singing live over it. Pretty much the way TOTP usually does it.

@vegasable - I thought I had that other TOTP version uploaded on my page until I checked (I don't) - someone does have it though on you tube but thanks for the clarification - I was sure it was a different performance and you've confirmed it.
@1:26 harmonica starts before it hits Bryan's mouth. And the "uh-hum" at the end of the harmonica is from the studio cut.
His best Dylan cover in my opinion. Love it so much. Live versions are kinda boring though.
