I was an avid vinyasa yoga doer - during the pandemic, three times a day...but it also caused injuries in my foot to flair (two neuromas, metatarsalgia) to the point where I couldn't walk. After laying off for three months, I tried to go back - slowly. But I will never be able to do plank again or be in any position which puts intense pressure on the balls of my feet. Plank is out. High lunge is out. Sitting on the balls of my feet is out. I've kinda learned to modify but it does ruin the flow of Vinyasa. Modifications, another type of yoga, a move to another form of exercise (like Pilates which I did for years), would be most welcome.
