I just went through seven instructional videos and not one of them mentioned the start recording now button teaching is an art too many of these instructional videos are performative. It's more like they're trying to build their channel then they are actually instructing me on how to use the share factory, somebody needs to do a basic video such as start video here----and video here, most people can figure out how to use the rest of the tools they're pretty self-explanatory. My mistake was telling their application to save the last 30 minutes or the whole video and then having to edit from there instead of starting and stopping the video where I wanted then it's a simple matter of uploading right then without doing anything up to UA-cam thank you for pointing that out to me. It was the most helpful piece of information out of every video. I've watched, the rest seemed to be nothing but performative watch me and I can't stand that. you really did me a big favor with that one and it was the only thing I really need to know. I'll learn the rest by trial and her thank you very much again.

@@GamesGams88 Great question pal. As far as I'm aware there has never been an undo button sadly. Good thing is that most things can be delete like stickers, transitions, texts etc....f you split a clip in the wrong place you can use trim to change the split to somewhere else to correct it. Just keep saving it as you go like you said and that protects against most mistakes. If you have saved it recently and make a mistake you can't correct then leave the project without saving it when you leave and go back to it and it will be however you save it last which I sometimes have to do.... Sadly no undo button though😪

For example i found ur vids on little tricks like the animated sub button helpful. I stole that move right away! Also i have heard the term, “without USB” used but i dunno what that means exactly. I assume there is some method using a USB pluggin that allows for more advanced editing? Would be interesting to hear more about that maybe.

Yep it's been a crazy busy 6 months so although I have loads of tutorials on the list still to do I just couldn't find the time annoyingly. I'm back now and although thongs are still busy I have adjusted my work so I have a bit more time to upload regularly again so really pleased I can get back to it. The without usb literally means doing things without the need of taking things on or off of the ps5 using a usb/memory stick and a pc. Sadly sharefactory, although good, is restricted on some of the things we would like to do on our video projects. I have found quite a few work around but they take a bit of work annoyingly....so glad u found the subscribe animation useful. Will definately do more of these videos going forward. If you ever have a specific problem you need help with do let me know and I will try to help find a solution if I can.... Thanks again for getting involved. @@NoMoreNoobie right on, well im tuned in buddy. I just build my channel to over 1000 subs recently with mostly just sharefactory vids. Still crazy to me that anyone really watches my stuff, went years without much luck. But i wasnt consistent in the past either. My only big gripe with editing on PS5 is the lack of file organization for clips. Im almost always working on 3-5 vids at once for various topics and i have to organize my clips immediately into the working project cuz you only have the favorite option with clips, just needs a simple folder system so i can throw things in a folder for later. After a gaming sesh i just go thru every clip and organize it right away otherwise the pile of clips gets too big to realistically go thru.

Secondly acheiving that mainly on sharefactory is awesome....i did the same and feel committed to sharefactory even though I could move on to a different editing program and make better videos I feel like acheiving it almost completely on sharefactory is somehow more of an acheivement....probably sounds strange but there u go..🤗 Yep totally agree about the organisation for clips and projects. Would be so much better if there was more options there for sure...maybe one day they will work on that🤞

It can export to 1080p. It can do higher i think but i think ps5 is limited to 1080p clips so there isnt much point in exporting higher. At least i couldnt figure out how to clip at 1440p.

Great question...yep there is a way but will need to check and get back to you possibly with a video as there's too much to explain in comments... I may have done a video on how to do it on PS4...Will check tomorrow and confirm if that's ok..

Good question. Did you try exporting it or uploading it to UA-cam? If you manage to do that them you could download it from youtube and try reducing the size on pc....let me know how you get on..🤞
Great quest. Sadly there is only the demo so no other way of having autoplay set up thst I am aware of.... One thing you could do if you want a specific video/gameplay playing in the background is to create the video you want to have playing and whenever you want it to play go on to the video project, play the video and then press L2 to make it full screen. It will then play like an autoplay....I haven't tested how long it will play for but worth giving that a go....not sure if that helps at all but hope it does. I may add that to my video idea list so might make a very quick tutorial on that so thanks for the question. Any other questions do ask and I will try to help. Thanks👍🏼

I'm having a problem. I've recorded a video from my PS5 in 4K (Webm format) looks amazing but when I share (upload) it on UA-cam the qaulity looks washed out. Reading up on it some people say it's before youtube compresses it that's the reason but where's loads of 4k PS5 content on UA-cam others say it take UA-cam 24 hours or so to get the full 4k prices completed as its transcoding in the background. Need help!

So the resolution is 3840 x 2160 (4k) on my PlayStation but on share factory it’s 4k as well so do I only need one of them to be 4k or both or does it not matter
Good question...tbh i dont think it matters that Mich but I havent really experimented that much. Maybe export using each of the different qualities and see what you think. I have started exporting in best quality but not sure I notice much difference....let me know what you end up doing and if u think there is much difference...👍🏼

People have used sharefactory music over the years, as have I, and not had copyright strikes...but I have heard a few people say that they have....as it happens I contacted them last week asking for confirmation about which songs are copyright free and they said they would get back to me....as yet I haven't heard back...I will get back to you once I hear back...👍🏼

Yep u can fmdefinately break it up into sections but u can't ask it to break up into 15 min sections...u would have to split the clips where you want them to start and end....this video will help... ua-cam.com/video/z9gvKQKdWhA/v-deo.htmlsi=lZUq44MZPk_RpTGD If you want to edit each clip seperately I would go to your video, split the video to make 1 clip and delete everything else, upload it as clip 1, then use trim clip to get the video back to whole project again and repeat for all other clips you want exporting them to gallery each time... If you want to edit them all separately and add a thumbnail I would split them and then export to gallery separately and when finished go to new project, add exported clip, edit it, add thumbnail and upload to UA-cam from there...repeat for each clip from there....
