okay, this needs to be said. i have experience with multiple editors across multiple channels with various types of content. i have friends who are editors, so here are some tips that i have learned on how to manage an editor: 1. TREAT THEM LIKE A HUMAN! i see this a lot, when people think it's okay to speak to editors like they're a robot sitting there all day and editing. get to know them, and understand what editing they're used to working on/perform best with, and if your content isn't what they would usually edit, give them time to get used to that type of content and how it is edited. 2. DO NOT RUSH THEM! editors have their own lives aside from doing work for you, they also may have other clients if they are freelancers, so please give them time. finzar articulates this part of being an editor perfectly. in the video, you can see how internally annoyed fin is having to deal with "any update?" and "lemme see a clip" every five seconds. if anything, this will make the process longer, so i strongly recommend you do not do this. 3. DO NOT RUSH TO ORDER. by this, i mean that you should never (from personal experience) find someone who "looks good" and immediately message them asking for a price and how quickly they can start. send them references, be completely sure that the final product will be as close to your image as possible. don't get frustrated if the editor does not understand certain parts, communicate with them and do your best to reflect your image onto them so then you don't have to ask/pay for countless revisions until it's right. that alone puts twice as much stress on not only you, but the editor also. there are way more things to consider than this, so be sure to watch some tutorials and "before you buy" videos to be 100% certain an editor is for you. great job on an engaging and inspiring video, finzar!

@@philippscheithauerI don’t think you know how UA-cam ad revenue works which is a multiverse btw with all the different genres of content/cpm’s 😂 Its not like he’s editing a freakin commercial for a large corporation LOL. I checked Orey’s channel, why would someone with 9k subscribers pay $700 for a video that might make like $50-100 on 🤣 that’s if he’s even monetized
@@Mista_Cassla would not say that google ad sense is the way most people on the platform make money? look at some income breakdowns and you will realize that pretty quick. most large channels invest into editors to either a) grow along them (hence offering % based income on the channels performance) or b) paying them well upfront in hopes that the invest will grow their channel. Everyone having a $50 editor will most likely not grow from it. You can mostly enslave some teenager for this kinda money thats grinding through school or hire someone from very different income countries.
@honestnerd First, Noone said a word about Hollywood. Second, I asked why would he spend 9 hours for $50. A predetermined amount should have been alloted, and said dollar would be spent based on his expected "hourly rate". You tell me you'll pay me $50 for 9 hours of work and I'll turn down that job every day.

Investing in many sources of income that are independent on government paychecks is the prudent thing that everyone should be thinking about right now, especially given the global economic crisis. Stocks, forex, and digital currencies are still good investments at this time.

Love this video bro! Showing the hustle. I am lucky enough to be a full-time video editor and that's my life: Coffee + Timelines, lol.
I tried Discord to get some gigs on the side and it's quite depressing. Some guys charging $10 for a full video! Obviously, it's not the highest quality, but wow.
Guys, put value to your work 💪
I like this video a lot, another banger from Finzar as usual. Keep it up!
Jesus loves yall, died for us, and rose again! Jesus calls for all of us to repent! He's coming back
Next time use stable diffusion to generate the person then modify parts of it with generative fill, much better results.
It's insane how much your channel and preset packs have leapt my editing forward by leaps and bounds, and I'm still _nowhere near_ the level that you are - it's CONSTANTLY just beautiful, smooth, high quality edits and images. Just top-tier UA-cam editing. Video just keeps your eyes locked on
Edit: I mean SERIOUSLY though, are you doing most of this in After Effects?? Breathtaking edits!
not after effects its premeire
either is possible@@chocolateblocks
dude you're so creative with your videos. I love it.
This video got pushed to my phone, this vid gunna blow up!
Bruh. Remember its like dog years, your 9.5 hours would be 176.5 hours for me (Great video btw)
Gather the family around, pull the curtains closer. Uncle Fin has a new video out
Already got all your Presets Fin! They helped me Greatly and Improved my Editing! Please add more. You can make Part 2s of the existing presets if you're running out of ideas, I'll still buy it lmao.
Your scripting is on next level 💖
Your video miniature game is ON point man.
50 for 9 hours is ok to me ngl i got paid 10$ FOR 8 HOURS OF WORK 😢
Not bad 😔
Same here, Actually bro 10$ for 8 hours of work is less
@@ByExpandifyMotivation 8 hours and only 10 bucks?🙁
😢 I got paid only $1.20 for 12 hours editing
I get 1-200 dollars for 3-4 days of work
I litteraly learned video editing by watching finzars videos. THEREFORE. Kepp up the good work man. Love your videos
Thank you for this video! I think we would like to see more of this editing progress video’s of you, so we can have also a behind the scenes on how you actually edit stuff! Keep going!! 🎉
Jesus loves yall, died for us, and rose again! Jesus calls for all of us to repent! He's coming back
My favourite day when Finzar uploads 😅 greetings from Carcasonne Queen! 🎉
Good thing you made this into a video, got your money back 🤣 Man should of AT LEAST paid $150
do you actually know how much editors are usually paid outside the miniverse that is youtube/gaming which is full of cheap people? He should have gotten a flat dayrate for 9 hours of work which would start at like $250 with little experience but probably is between $700-1000 considering his skill.
@Mista_Cassla in that regard tho... why would anyone edit for 9 hours, for $50, so someone else can make $100? Math ain't mathing.
When i made money from video editing I'll going to buy your pack, so that i can make even more money.
Master Finzar. After all your lessons for my first job I got paid 50$ for editing 9 hours of footage into 19 videos (2.5 hours)... Took me at least 100 hours! Sadge..
Wtf, I hope u mean 50 per vid
@@Final_Act I wish that would have been fair. For everything it was 50 bucks, they basically screwed me over after the job was done. There was no contract between us, after delivery they said we have finantial issues take this or leave it...
Amazing videos, I found you a few days ago after buying the creative studios bundle off of adobe. Ive binged watched a lot of your videos and will make an investment into your preser packs once I've done my christmas shopping! Thank you for the videos they're great :)
eheheha
Congratulations
Insane
I liked it 2
I liked it too
As you should
This guys deserves 10mill subs! Your editing is unreal!
As a video editor myself I related to this big time lol I have my own motion gfx business making lyric videos for music artists and can make a decent £100-200 a day for only 3/4 hours work....I tried a UA-cam editing job, 20min video which ended up taking me 18hours to edit 😳n only got £125 lol moral of the story! Don't take any and every job (work smarter not harder)
Wow that sounds awesome... Where does one get music artists to make lyric videos for?
@@luizsaha i would ALSO like to know
binge watching this channel and enjoying every minute of it
i'm a junior SWE (and hope to transition into youtube fullt-time as my smol channel grows in the next 2-3 years)
and I just wanna say that editing feels WAYYY more difficult than coding
yet it makes much lesser money and I can't understand why
I need Master Chief in my life
1:20 how did I know what last name you were gonna pick??? lol

Ok we 3 are all psychic I guess 😂
Really enjoyed watching the video. Seems like every scene makes sense. Kept me immersed until the end.
*I didn't become financially independent until I was in my late 40's, and I'm still in my 40's. In addition to having purchased my second home and earning money on a monthly basis through passive income, I've also achieved three out of five goals. I just hope this inspires someone to realize that it doesn't matter if you don't have any of these things yet, you can start today no matter your age. Change your future by investing! I made a rather big decision by investing in the financial market.*
Investing in many sources of income that are independent on government paychecks is the prudent thing that everyone should be thinking about right now, especially given the global economic crisis. Stocks, forex, and digital currencies are still good investments at this time.
Sure, investing is essential for maintaining your financial stability, but making any kind of legitimate investment without the correct advice of a professional can result in a significant loss as well.
It's really not easy trading this market. I read a lot of books, tried to study, watch some tutorial videos, did a little demo before funding my account and I still lost a lot. The financial market could be very tricky
Beginner traders sometimes make the error of trading on their own without the right guidance or knowledge, and they frequently come to regret it. You need a mentor and an expert to help you trade as a newbie.
Recently, I've been researching advisors. I recently started trading, but it has never been profitable for me; I have incurred significant losses. Please do you have any reputable recommendation?
finally a videos man i really love your videos continue
Now Orey TV is going to have a ton of new viewers just looking for the video you edited 😂
thanks fiznawr
is it the latest video?@@oreytel
That was some great idea. love it :)
0:53 how did you do that with text please teach me or what that effect is called please tell me 🙏🏻😭😭😭
Your editing is immaculate
Editor's are underrated camera man's are overrateddddd!!!!!!
Cameramen never dies so they are not overrated , they will always be with you 😂😂😂
Cracking Video, Entertaining on so many levels, loved it! Stay safe, have fun! 😁👌👍
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my whole life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Deborah Davis.
I was big on gold and silver but a few months ago I discovered Bitcoin and Ethereum. Listening to lots of stuff from Deborah Davis has been really helpful in my journey..
When someone is straight forward at what he or she does people will always speak for them.i know a couple of friends who makes profits in the financial market
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Deborah Davis) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺
Trading crypto now should be wise, but trading without an expert isn't advisable. I tried trading on my own but keep on losing.
Any specific guide. I'm from Georgia how do I go about this? I think I'm interested how can I get in touch with mrs Deborah Davis
never been this early to a finzar vid, nice job as always
If you like this comment you liked it
LOL
No one cares
Really like your videos, they are helping me a lot on my learning. But other question what keyboard do you use?
who here for orey👇
I can imagine someone already named Darren Smith watching this video. Anyway, Great Video!
I liked my own comment! 😂
After effects game is on the up my guy, would love some more content on that
I earn 6$ a day here working as a video editor [I had no experience when i joined + its not even been a year since i started editing professionally] ...so 50 for 9 hours seems amazing to me... Kudos man! I'm gonna try to go as well!!
bro Finzar is a honest man
He pointed out the life of fact.
honestly this as a series would be amazing. don't know if the time spend for it would be worth. but it be a fun watch for sure
I feel so good when a finzar video gets uploaded
Literally when he was struggling with the last name for Darren i was thinking and saying Smith in my mind.
I watched this video while on break from my daily dozen or so hours of editing crunch. This was too real, my guy, I was FEELING that deadline stress.
This video is so motivating I’ve been trying to look for an editing job and know more on where to look for one
I'm glad Finzar no longer has to be a Darren Smith and now has his own channel
He revealed the reason there are so many Smiths: Everyone wants to sound like a blacksmith. LOL. 🤣
Another banger Fin. Really enjoyed just seeing the whole process for a start-up editor. $50 is $50 my guy.
Bro’s been in my mind I been wanting to do those animations for my videos! Getting that pack now!
Thanks for making these kind of challenge videos.!
Love from Sri Lanka.!❤
Awesome video Finzar! 🎉
Im so obsessed with this channel
Insightful as it is entertaining Finzar. Keep up the dope videos!
Omg..the price killed me.
Fin I love your vids and I want more content and tips, keep uploading more
