I went to 8th grade with him and was in an opportunity class for delinquent kids. This guy was always getting into fights and had no problem telling ppl what he thought and expressed himself very well. That's great that he chose to channel that anger to something he loves doing. I barely found he's doing mma let Alone he made it the ufc list. Good job man👍

Actually Sean impressed me during a loss a few years ago, understanding where he was in his career and who he was fighting. His progress is great, feel sad he has to try to be the heel to get attention.

Uriah is imho a more wholesome fighter but Strickland is extremly talented and gets better each fight so who knows, it's a very interesting matchup but it can also end very quickly one way or another. Hope for both of them to end the fight unscathed, they are great guys.

@@MoazzamStudio he’s crazy heavy handed naturally it’s weird. He generates no speed or power from his lower body at all but connects with accuracy and does big damage. He’d probably rarely gas because of it. He’s an extremely awkward fighter but he comes to scrap and I love it

Anyone giving grief to Strickland for his knockout loss to Alex should remember how many times Izzy has been knocked out by the guy. Sometimes, the other guy just hits harder and/or more accurately. Sometimes, it's just not your night. For Sean, his record shows he's had a lot more favorable fights than unfavorable. Just hoping he can keep it going long enough to get gold and maybe even retire on a win.

He's really been quite humble through his rise. Now that he's top 10, almost top 5, he's taken a page from colby's playbook and turned it up to 100. Strickland is still so damn genuine and unassumingly hilarious that he's gotta go down for one of the greatest, if not the greatest combat personalities of all time! I hope I get to see him bring a bra for izzy at the presser 🤭👙
I was certainly surprised. He made the news cause he got that jiu jitsu guy angry at him, and for a second we thought he was just messing with a gym bully. But then we found out Sean was the gym bully. And rather than apologize he turned into a character.

I'm not too crazy about him saying 'I'd love nothing more than to kill someone in the cage', but he's good. He might make his way to the belt eventually, but he's got a terrible style to go against a leg-kicker like Israel. Unless he can somehow keep Adesanya going backwards the whole fight, Izzy would tear them legs up imo
