    with the node edit i found that if you click away from the object then go CTRL + Z and it will undo the what iv changed.

      I was going to spend the day figuring out what hoops you had to jump through to make the undo button work. Thank you for the information and saving me the time. I'll be sending your T-shirt out as soon as you email me your shipping address. Thanks again.

      @@deadwood-jq7fw Thank you for the clarification. There were nearly a dozen people falsely claiming to be you, trying to get a free shirt. I plan to start having them for sale next year. I bet none of the folks claiming to be you will buy one. Thanks again for you feedback and watch your email for something EXTRA.

    I did not see this live but I learned a lot from this video. Keep doing the livestreams they are very informative and entertaining at the same time.
    As for me personally I didn't think that it felt like 2 hours, I was so engrossed into the learning that the time flew by!

    Good stream! I can't believe I watched the whole thing! You missed a lot of shortcuts, but probably did better than I would 😜

    My cousins husband, the whole back part of his heart isn't working and it took him 3 years to get disability. You just have to keep fighting for it

    Steve, you can weld the second rectangle i.e. group the little rectangles even though 2 are on the inside and then weld like you the first one. You get the right result with 2 tabs on the top/bottom and 1 slot on each side. I jumped the gun and just did the same thing as the first one while listening to and designing along with the video and had to do a double take when ya went "...nope, dummy..." LOL 😊

    Since the horizontal and vertical laser beam is different in size, then the kerf for each should be different...correct?

    • @HoboWithWood
      @HoboWithWood  7 місяців тому

      Every laser is different and some are worse than others. But that is why I create actual slots and tabs to test my kerf instead of doing a kerf test like Rich. His test only tests the kerr on one axis. The difference is minor. But I like testing with slots and tabs. Afterall, that's what you are trying to make fit together most of the time.

    Can we bevel cut the ends of the side pieces where they fit together.

    • @HoboWithWood
      @HoboWithWood  7 місяців тому

      I've not see a sucessful, precise way to cut mitres with the laser.

    I did not grasp how you seperated the octagons so you could merge only the inside ones.
