@@SpeedTreeMiddleware Please make a beginner to pro course or something guys. I will be more than happy to pay you for a proper, full course. I appreciate the live streams you have but they're not holistic and they're 144p:(
How do I blend an imported detail mesh to the trunk like shown in the video? Which node is that, since the vertex blended extension function was removed?
The vertex blended extension is still in the application, you can add one with the "wrap stitch" template or use the "bake stitch" or conversion tool! Shown in this video is a new generator "Mesh Detail" which lets you weld small parts and knots to the outside of your tree. In New>Samples>Learning there is a mesh detail file to demonstrate how these work.

We're stoked we can leaf you with these features too!! Thank you!
Can I sell custom trees from the SpeedTree modeler yet? That would be an update I would get excited for.
Import a mesh to project your normals? That's so great to hear! Thank you for the new features
Switching to global also lets you just instantly do spheres- making it super fast to get that "lollypop" look.
You guys alive after 1 year
Please bring more tutorials
Working on that, stay tuned!
