This is a showcase of all the unique weapons available in the Garden of Eyes overhaul mod for Elden Ring. Garden of Eyes is a massive, in development mod with large scale changes to the world of Elden Ring, including weapons. This video aims to simply showcase all the unique weapons currently accessible, which include reworks of vanilla weapons as well as brand new weapons entirely. Thanks for watching.

Gotta be wary of it being patreon only, couple of skyrim mods got cease and desists for that when Bethesda found out

There’s clearly a lot of effort that went into the mod which is really cool to see, but I have the same personal issue here that I have with other mods that add weapons/spells: they’re waaaay too over the top and look really silly. I think all of these weapons are cool ideas but they cram so much into each weapon, their attack speed and their AoW that they don’t even feel like Elden Ring weapons anymore. I get that this is a thing people like but it feels like every mod like this just pushes things way too far for me. I’d kill for a mod that adds new weapons that don’t feel like some OP anime shit and could fit nicely into the base game roster of weapons.
Also an unrelated nitpick: why does the lansseax glaive have a spear moveset? Like it feels so obvious to use a halberd moveset I don’t really get it.

fair opinion but i love mods for how cool and over the top all the weapons and spells are, makes me actually feel like I'm on the same level as all these demigods

The holy moonlight sword has a second AoW when used in the buffed state, it‘s similar to the one of the blade of calling or black knife

I'm surprised this mod is getting any sort of support considering Garden of Eyes/Sanadsk is trying to charge money for what's mostly an asset flip. Regardless of the effort put in, that's both immoral and illegal.
He also calls it an """overhaul""", which is hilarious considering all it really does is add funny haha OP anime weapons. No changed game mechanics like Reforged - maybe some enemies are swapped around but nothing else. Shameful.
not even just add op anime weapons, I paid for it, you just craft them, they aren't even added to the world. its honestly kinda crappy to pass it off as an overhaul

So, he does pay a lot of other modders to help out on this project. I do see the desire for some income, however I had a comment awhile back saying it will go free once it's complete. Don't quote me because I'm not sure if it's true

@@SnugglytheCrowDS1it's a lie, he's a scammer who always says the mods will be "free when finished" and that his patreon is just for early access, but he never actually finishes and publishes the mods for free download. It's a literal scam that himself and Cota studios have been running for years and there's so many dumb cunts defending it they keep getting away with it. Not to mention they're banned from every major modding discord such as reforged, coop and convergence because he constantly rips off their work to put behind his paywall.
He is confirmed to be under active investigation by Bandai Namco for his paywalling of assets and profiteering from their IP.
True Axe of Godfrey having one smaller side seems wrong, the Golden Shade Godfrey's axe was symmetrical.
I do wish that when showcasing them, you should at least show stats at their maximum upgrade and also the description page. Also wish you had done the same with the God of War one with max stats.

ok so that CLAW weapon at the end needs a bloody graphics overhaul. That lion obscures the screen too much.
So the lion model is actually part of a talisman and not the claw itself, but you are totally right it does take up way too much screen real estate

Yeh if the mod isnt compatible with the current Elden Ring Build it won't work properly

I doubt it, not saying it's impossible but usually overhauls can't really be merged as they change so many things

Ah, not sure. I do know convergence has separate saves from base game, could use that to that to your advantage

I'm not sure. I don't know how steam deck operates but if you are able to launch through the batch file you could theoretically get it to work. Once goe is installed you still have a batch file you can launch outside the launcher.
If you could add the batch file to steam via add non steam game that might work too

Yeh I would like to wait a bit until there are a few more custom sets. The bulk are from DS2. In the meantime I have a top 10 armor mods video if you haven't already seen it :)

Doesn’t seem as good as convergence which has loads more weapons from what I can see
It's not worth it if multiple ppl be stuck on a certain percentage, I've been at work at day still at 85%

@YE In this case, no, he is not. The majority of content in this mod are assets ripped from other games, so basically Garden of Eyes is trying monetize other's intellectual property. Which is not only immoral, but also *illegal*. No one would have any problem if he started a donations patreon, as many mod teams do that.

You'd be hard pressed to find decent modders that support pay walling mods. Even the modders for Convergence (which is a huge overhaul compared to others) hate the concept.

Check out Syyykes magic overhaul and castle fantasy spells. Also Elden ring reborn makes a few spell changes

@@joevile240 After playing a ton of Convergence, the spells are cool but their damage is pretty sub par. It's in Alpha so I'm sure it'll get balanced, but right now weapons and AoWs scale so well that most spells get outclassed by a solid 400+ AR
