appreciate your insights. We are stepping from a 16.0.2 for the church to something like this for the livestream only. I'm happy with the 16, just out of channels. This helps fill in the blanks about options. Thanks!
@@sorry11303 how exactly will you use it? I’ve used the a few times but not in my exact application. Other than live mixing, I’ll also pass audio thru to a DAW as well. Probably Reaper. I’m start to love Reaper. Recently recorded 16 channels of Drums for a Drum Clinic being featured on my website. Reaper convinced me!
@@PreachAndPlay I'm mostly a DAW user this will be the first time I'll be able to physically use knobs and faders hopefully I can get good at up at mixing music cuz I've been beat making for a while now now people want to record I'm just trying to get it all together so I can become assistant sound engineer overall that's my ultimate goal.
Hey man, for the FX... you have to tweak them yourself a little bit. Out of the box it sounds a bit harsh, but you can level it to your own needs and once you figured that out it will be better.
And one other tip, if you're working with room mic's, put a little latency on it... the will burst your live recordings in the church, kinda a delay that makes it spacy
Hello my friend! i have one question for you from this console, but mine is 16.4.2, not the Ai.. my question: may i have just the wet signal on effects? for example: i want some delay on the channel 2, with 1500ms of time, but just hear the wet signal, not the dry signal togheter, is possible? thanks
You can adjust the amount of dry/wet signal by the amount of signal you send to the fx. The fx on this unit aren’t the best but I’m sure you can do what you’re wanting. Just send the signal to the fx processor and route only the fx to the output. Don’t have channel 2 routed to main out and fxs simultaneously. Route channel 2 to fx only then route the fx to out. That should get you settled
