@@brentsumner6548 and why the fuck they buy the Nazi cars
Vauxhall fuel trims etc. are always odd during open loop. I've seen things like a low flow fault code for example when the ECU itself has closed a valve for another reason. I know there's a delay between filming and posting your vids but have you noticed how the stealers have been inflating their spares prices over the last 6 months. It's getting ridiculous.
😊
Indeed they have... this was recorded about 11 months ago... but even then I started to see some ridiculous prices at the dealers...
Thank you for watching and for your comment!
👍👍👍
Well that's why they got the nickname stealership because they're always over charging for stuff.
What is the part number to order from bosch
Showed on the video...
Can't remember now...
Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much

Hi, I have a major problem with my VXR GTC since 2018. Been too 4 different garages including vauxhall peter vardy. NO LUCK, so I will try to repair myself
No rev count, EGM + ESP light on
P0315 - Crankshaft position not learned
P0335 - Crankshaft sensor Circuit
U0100 - Lost communication with ECM
Sensor, Ecu, engine wiring harness, timing chain, sprockets have all been replaced. Issue stays the same. Thinking it is a wiring issue. Any advice on where to start as garages dont want to mess with wiring...
Start on the engine ecu wiring... there is not much more to advise...
Check wiring from the sensor to the ecu...
Power, grounds etc...
The sensor, was that a genuine or an aftermarket?
@@LMAutoRepairs I found your video as I was checking reviews on Autel electrical Probe, i have Autel Maxidas ds708 pro so hopefully with the right tools I can do fault finding
Genuine parts direct from Vauxhall, crankshaft sensor replaced total of 4 times as each garage suggested there could be a fault on the sensor
I would scope the timing first...
If the timing is out, or something else is not right, you might get those codes...
That would be my next step... Well, that would have been one of the steps before replacing all of those parts... which obviously where not faulty... As you still have the same problem...
Só, yes, scope the timing and compare it with a good known sample...
👍👍👍
@@LMAutoRepairs I will give the timing a check over. Thank you
Just to add the codes prior to any garage being involved remain the same. Even vauxhall dealership replaced timing chain twice as they assumed there was an issue the first time they replaced it... Big headache since 2018 with car being off road
Purge stake open at idal Lean وRich

I changed my rocker cover and purge valve on my car and it still rough idles stopped and in traffic.
The fuel is consumption is so poor that a full tank doesn't last long...
Does anyone have any clue what it could be? It is a zafira 1.6 petrol XE1 engine.
Aftermarket cover?
I had issues with them...
Thank you for watching!
@@LMAutoRepairs it was a FAI cover not the cheap ones.
Double check that is good...
I had them bad even being new...
@@LMAutoRepairs how do I check these without removing? Removing the vacuum hose at the back of the cover?
The breather hole does nothing.
