This second of several units that arrived yesterday evening is the Hagibis MC25 Pro HD Silver | USB-C Hub, with Hard Drive Enclosure | M.2 NVMe/SATA. The Apple M1 Mac Mini only has 500 GB Storage, and I used all of that ages ago due to hundreds of videos I've made since.
I've taken really good care of my Apple M1 Mac Mini computer. Till today it looks almost brand new. That's because while others remove the plastic cover, I've kept mine on since day 1 to protect it as much as possible. I also have a felt bag for it if ever I need to take it somewhere.

02:00 When the Apple M1 Mac Mini was released in 2020,
02:10 many people were unhappy that it only had 2 USB Ports
02:20 and 2 Thunderbolt 4 Ports, which meant that they were
02:30 rather limited as to the accessories they could use daily.
02:40 After all, a mouse and keyboard would use up 2 ports.
02:50 And the 2 precious Thunderbolt 4 would be used for
03:00 devices handling high speed read, write and transfers.
03:10 Various companies began to make all sorts of accessories
03:20 for the M1 Mac Mini desktop computer, and fans went nuts.
03:30 I too wanted one of useful these accessories back then,
03:40 but one major issue stopped me from getting the hub:
03:50 Not one of these companies offered a min 1 year warranty.
04:00 And I never ever buy devices without a min 1 year warranty.
04:10 What I like about this Hub is that you can add up to
04:20 1 or 2 TB of M.2 NVMe Solid State Drive (SSD) and
04:30 an extra 1 or 2 TB of SATA Solid State Drive (SSD) or
04:40 you can use a 2.5-inch mechanical Hard Disk Drive instead.
04:50 So that means you can have up to 4TB of added memory.
05:00 I was able to get two 1TB Kingston M.2 NVMe recently.
05:10 The SSDs can be fitted in easily as you can see in the video.
05:20 Maybe I can get a 2.5" (6.35cm) SSD too if needed later on.
05:30 There are some brand which make the exacting size
05:40 with the M1 Mac Mini and a round crater for a snug fit.
05:50 I plugged in the Hub but the computer did not recognize
06:00 my brand new Kingston SSD, so I was a little flustered.
06:10 I expected the computer to just recognize it immediately.
06:20 Wouldn't it be awesome if everything was plug and play
06:30 right out of the box? C'est la vie. Such is life as we know it.

07:00 It took less than a minute so it really isn't difficult at all.
07:10 I quite like the Hagibis logo as it is an ambigram logo
07:20 which can be seen "upside down" or the "right side" up.
07:30 I then called Apple Support and asked them to help.
07:40 It just needed to be formatted for use with the M1 Mac Mini.
