People don’t realize that he is giving away all his knowledge. Basically if you going to a lesson of detailing you have to pay for what this guy is giving you for free, so thank you Scott.

Scott, you've got the best detailing videos online!! Better than the big brands we use are putting out for sure!! I've been a car nut for about 20 years owning over 100 cars but I've just recently got into the professional level of detailing. The past 4 months I've probably watched over 100 hours of videos by professionals and brands. Your demos and explanations, while sometimes a bit long winded, are absolutely the most helpful I've found. Thanks and keep it up please! From Los Angeles.

Thanks for all videos and tips and instruction. Detailed my first car, my own 2017 Honda using products and procedures you use. Super Clean to wash the car tires and wheels. Chemical Guys original clay bar, Meguairs fast finish liquid wax with a Porta Cable DA, diluted Super Clean for the interior, diluted VRP on the dash and interior trim and door panels, and full strength VRP on the tires, next time I’ll cut it a little to get a matte finish. Citrol on the front chrome and bumper and on all glass to get rid of bugs. Lake Country 5.5 foam pads. I just used a white pad. Since it was my first time I didn’t want to use a cutting wax until I get the hang of it and more confidence in what I’m doing. Playing it safe for now. Tomorrow I’ll detail my 2016 Ford PU. Thanks again
Chemical Guys Glass Works for all windows inside and out. Everything worked great 👍🏼
    Thanks again

    Hi Scott,
I recently came upon your channel and really like your vids. Thanks for taking the time to make them and share your knowledge. This vid is great, but the best part, for me, is at the end where you explain, in layman's terms, how to use the feedback from the machine to keep you on the right track. That info is worth its weight in gold. The one and only time I used my Porter Cable for paint correction was about 5 or 6 years ago and now I'm motivated to break it out and put it to use. Thanks again!

My dad never taught me how to do this. Anytime I picked up a tool or wanted to tinker with my own car I’d be told I was going to ruin something. Now that I’m on my own, I have the freedom to do whatever I want. I learned a lot of things from this video. Thank you.
Trying to search harbor freight but can’t find their store-branded tool you recommend. Granted it’s 2020 now. I’ll check out your other videos to see if you talk about proper DA sanders to choose for detailing purposes. :)

Just ran into your channel loving how you use common stuff you can buy off the shelf at the store and not pushing high dollar stuff if you just want a decent shine and remove some swirls in one of your other videos. I just discovered your channel and am bingewatching, lol. I like your no nonsense, no BS approach. If we lived in the same area I'd hire you to do my car. Not necessarily because it needs it or I'm too lazy to do it myself, but to watch you in action and learn. There's no way I could ever get all your experience by myself since I'm a weekend warrior and only have two cars in my "fleet" to play with. But I do love to see rough paint turn great before my eyes, even if I tend to "overthink" stuff and get confused by watching the multitude of conflicting how-to videos on UA-cam. Keep up the good work.

From one detailed to another- I only used a d/a polisher once about 10 yrs ago.. paint was dry and chafed. It was an old sears brand- made the paint come back to life. I haven’t used one since and was interested in buying a d/a to wax compound etc. The video was extremely helpful and to the point- no nonsense and knowledgeable. Thanks for the video.

Scott, I recently came across your you tube videos and found them very informative. So, I have a question. I have a 70 Ford Mustang with a base clear coat. I purchased the Harbor Freight DA for polishing my car but, I am terrified that I would mess up the finish. I have other vehicles I can practice on but, I have not tried it on my Mustang. I am interested in the HD Speed polish you demonstrated. Where can I get it?
I like your videos and they reaffirm what I have been thinking these last few years about paint correction. I love it. Are you from the North East? Have a great day.
    Mike

So not paint correction, just advanced band-aiding that simulates paint correction? So you would use this for a car where they just want wash and wax without a full detail in hopes of reeling them in to bite for the full paint correction?

Scott - I live 125 miles from you in Mexia, but if I were closer I would bring the car to you all the time. Recently had some body work done to my little black poor mans sportscar and the orange peel is bad. Want to try your advice, but scared I might burn through the clearcoat. Great vids man. Thanks for helping out those of us with little money.

your right, I did a test spot on a customers car yesterday that just wanted a clay and wax but the test spot I did with hd speed was incredibly more attractive and made more sense then just the wax. The car came out amazing with this product. Great Video
