All depends on available traction, sure if you have sticky tyres and nice smooth tar, let the boost build but I was doing a demo so sitting for 3 seconds wouldn’t serve any real purpose, this was more for the settings the car has to be in to engage it.
there are many parameters that need to be met like the car must be fully warmed up 80 degrees oil temp, have traveled at least ten miles, transmission temp not too high etc. It is a total pain in the ass in reality.
You did it wrong. You’re supposed to hold the rev for a few seconds to let the boost build.
It says on the manual only for 3 seconds though
