None of the sequels ever matched the Gravitas of the first Conan the Barbarian movie. Of course, James Earl Jones playing Thulsa Doom helped a lot with that, but in the end of the first Conan the Barbarian there is a scene with an older Conan sitting on a throne. It alludes to a King Conan movie and says, "That is a story for another time."
It is now another time!
Someone needs to talk Arnold into doing a final Conan movie, King Conan would be the perfect book end to his Career, as an older and wiser Conan that is less quick to draw the sword, but not so old that he lets it rust in the scabbard either.

Crazy woman had a scene where she jumped on Conan's friend, Duma? Juma? She actually jumped on the actor and bit him hard enough to draw blood. Beautiful but scary.
I have heard people in the past talk about their attraction to Jones. I just don't get it. She looks like just like a man.

I loved her in "A View to a Kill."
I never got the idea these peasants were cannibals. She was just part of a raiding party that got caught. As Bombata said, “Thieves should be hanged.” But she turned out to be bad ass and a real asset to the party. Great clip, thank you for posting.

It was the 80’s. This was by far not the worse thing made. Certainly one of the longest. It’s a classic of the type in the era. If you are too young to get that, then no need to watch or to comment.
