@@NimasUA-cam PA! I placed 5th because I fabricated the whole chicken instead of just the breasts. After the competition when we got the results it showed that I would have placed 1st or 2nd if I would have gotten my chicken on the plate to be judged. The judge tasted my chicken but couldnt grade it to be fair. It was SOOOO much fun and I would absolutely do it again! Thank you again, I owe a lot of it to you haha
did an amazing job, I myself have state for culinary Skills USA and i am nervous but also VERY excited. You did everything VERY well only thing is when cutting the wing off you should French it then shaving off at least 30 secs but other than that amazing job dude. what's your fastest time fabricating a chicken mine is 2 mins and 56 secs.
Hey, I’m going to this exact competition on the 31st and I have a few questions. Like I have a list and it says I have 15 minute intervals, does that mean I have only 15 minutes for butchery then 15 minutes for knife cuts then 15 minutes for each part of my meal?….. Also where you allowed to bring your recipes with you?.. pt would be great it you respond back it’ll be a great help.. Thanks!
Hello! so the 15 minute intervals are for you to have a better gameplan (timeline) to manage your time. You are allowed to bring all the recipes to the competition as well. I would suggest writing your recipes on small note cards because you need to utilize your space as much as you can. And don't forget to clean as you go on (most important part of SkillsUSA). You'll do great! Let me know how it goes!
