I always wanted to try to make my own tempura, but was hindered by the thought of deep frying at home. Seeing how you do it with a small pan gives me confidence, will try it 🥰

I absolutely LOVE Katsudon!! It's become my favorite comfort food. However, I don't always have pork available so I've used chicken thighs and it's still delicious. I hope it's not offensive or wrong to use chicken but it's still so good!!

If anyone has issues getting thinly sliced beef in their normal meat area, steak-ums or any philly cheesesteak equivalent can work. Just make sure unseasoned
Recently, I use white sesame oil for deep frying. It's not common thing in Japan, but white sesame oil makes fried foods extremely tasty!! (Also used in authentic tempura restaurants in Japan.) My country's i had used were too much splash oil beyond me in conclusion not fit my hand causing feeling of irritation. Even if i don't use a variety of pens and at that time my ability of cooking acquisition is not like now. Mmm so i am not sure 100% what i am getting through are only disasters. ㅠㅠ.

What is the reason for cutting off the end of the prawn tails and pushing the water out? I have never seen this before.
This is because it removes dirt from the tail and also removing water prevents oil splatter when prawns are fried in oil.
