    Well done! Now for the same style upper LED marker light upgrade. My Black H2 has smoked LEDs from to back and top too bottom now. Looks great.

    It'd be nice if someone made oem with amber and red reflector, but the only 3rd party options are clear and smoke. So they can reflect too at night even when off. You won't see them if they're just black or clear. Have one that's going out on my black H2.

    Thanks for the video! I was wondering how to access the wires from inside my H2. How do you open up where the bins/cup holders is to gain access to the wires?

    • @dailydrivenH2
      @dailydrivenH2  Рік тому

      That area (the cup holder area )should pop off giving you access to the wires

    I did the LED side marker light upgrade on mine, but my brake lights stopped working once I had them installed... I even tried using those H4 Light adapter plugs, and it did NOT solve the issue. But as soon as I took out the LED side-markers, my brake lights started working again immediately.
    I would LOVE to upgrade, but I unfortunately NEED working brake lights. No, the adapter plugs do NOT work on mine for some reason, so that's not an option for me.

      The one thing I hate about this led lights is manufacturers change wiring without notice so we all end up with situations where lights work on one truck and the next set of led lights have had wiring changes and suddenly dont work anymore.

      So that is likely the issue with my Hummer?
      It is a 2007 Hummer H2, and I have had excellent success with the LED headlamps, as well as the front and rear LED turn signals. The only LED lights that won't work on my 2007, is the side marker lights...
      After watching this, I am wondering if perhaps the mechanic installed them backwards? Yellow in the rear and red in the front... would that cause my issue??? I just find it really odd that all other LED lights work perfectly except for the side marker lights. I even have the top side parameter LED lights installed with no issues.

      @dailydrivenH2  Рік тому +1

      Red in the rear amber up front is the correct way . Not sure if it matters if you do it backwards .

      Yeah, I'm just wondering if that's what they did and why they don't work on my H2... I just find it a bit odd that all of the other LED light options for the H2 work on mine with no issues whatsoever, but the side markers won't

      @@john.wick1hey, Im having the same issue with this side markers. Seems every time I install them my tail lights don’t work. Did you end up finding a solution? If so what did you use to make it work. Thanks…

    Hey how many engine hours does your hummer show? I didn’t know they can with engine hours meters.

    • @dailydrivenH2
      @dailydrivenH2  Рік тому

      Yeah I have over 5k

    • @buddyrebel_Garcia
      @buddyrebel_Garcia Рік тому

      @@dailydrivenH2 Holy smokes. the hour meter is based on idling right? Why would they even come with those? Any way Mine says 2604 engine hours. I guess its equivalent to 156k miles. But you know, my hummer is 9/10 in and out and i just replaced the rear main seal, all front suspension with heavy duty parts, changed the power steering pump and hydraulic brake booster. I didn't know the brake booster correlates with the power steering pump. It was a bitch bleeding the power steering on these hummers. But the Hummer is a beast. I think Engine hours is overrated. I mean as long as the engine is working and doing its job.

    • @buddyrebel_Garcia
      @buddyrebel_Garcia Рік тому

      @@dailydrivenH2 My hummer has 57k on the clock but like i said 2604 engine hours if that even matters. What are your thoughts on engine hours.

      Oh trust me I understand . Nowadays its hard to open up so many things we thought was US made to find out that must of the parts had been made in china for years now.
