Installing Jeep Headlights in a Hummer H2

- In this video, I install some Jeep lights in the Hummer. They fit relatively easy and are not to difficult to wire. Aftermarket headlights are a must for any vehicle. These lights work well and look great too!

I just bought these lights for my H2 and this video will be my guide to installing them. Very well done. The stock lights on an H2 are garbage.
Hey man, thank you for making this video! I just got these same lights and you made the Hummer install a breeze. Gotta say, not all hero’s wear capes haha 👍
Haha appreciate the kind words
yea h2con ur right the DRL lights are the ones below, I done a complete front light upgrade. headlights, DRL/FOGLIGHT, and even added offroad/foglights. they're all 6000k. 2008 Hummer H2 luxury H2.
thanks for the video, well done explanation to know what i'm about to get into! (2003 h2)
You're welcome! Glad I could help!
Thanks sooo Much for this video! You saved several blown fuses including my own!
Just bought an 05 hummer h2 sut. I love it, it's great shape, i installed a 20" slim 150 watt light bar in the grill into my brights but it's a white light and now looking to grab some led bulbs or maybe some oracle headlights, that way i can switch my halos to whatever color i want, mainly yellow, blue and white.
Nice man. Yeah the Oracle stuff is real high end. A cheaper alternative is to make them yourself if you're comfortable opening up headlights!
Just ordered mine video was beyond helpful and informative. Great video
Appreciate it glad you found it helpful
I just bought a set (without the halo rings) for my 2004 Hummer H2, and inside the box was a Hummer "scan code" sticker that's linked directly to your video. It seems the seller is a fan.
Haha no way that's too funny
exactly how i started doing it.....your video confirmed it - thanks
No problem, best of luck!
Great Video
The drl lights are the ones below the headlights in the bumper. They come on when the H2 is put in gear. You tapped the parking lights. Thanks for the video. I’m getting ready to get some new led headlights for my H2. Currently shopping for some. How do you like them?
Ohh thanks for the correction man. It's not my vehicle, but I thought those were the fog lights. I'll tell you the lights are extremely bright. I have plans to adjust the ones that I installed on this Hummer Because they aim a little high. But overall they look really cool and are bright as hell haha
ThatAccordGuy96 I had put a hid kit in but took it out after a few weeks. I was blinding everyone. I even adjusted them down and would still get flashed. I’m leaning towards these. With the projection led, adjusting them down should help more than the stock housing and hid. These look sharp.
@@h2con yeah the projector lense definitely helps to concentrate the light and keep it from just aiming into the sky. I have projectors on my truck and have always loved the light pattern they make. You'll appreciate it
Thank you so much I was able to buy some headlights Similar to yours but I didn’t have to splice into the OEM harness it actually came with its harness of its own. all I had to do is tap in to the DRL just like you did on the turn signal harness. I was looking for that thank you so much I was able to tap on to the brown wire and it was a clean look thank you so much for the video. Very helpful.
Happy I could help!
Hey bro how did u tap to your turn signal wire like did u use a butt connector or u solder them in im having a hard time in wat to do for the drls and wat wire gauge did u use let me know thanks bro
@@antoniodelgado4939 to be honest with you I forgot how I did it. I can check tomorrow and I can see if I can answer your question
@@buddyrebel_Garcia let me kmow bro pls thanks
Thanks a bunch 4 this video. Just bought these and thought I had 2 return
No prob man glad I could help.
Very informative, thanks
No prob
HUMMER AASIF LIKED THIS VIDEO💪💪💪❤❤❤
🔥🔥🔥 bout to do my H2/03
Nice! Good luck man!
Thanks for the video!
No problem!
I purchase the set with out the halos and the drl /turn
I will return and get those at first looks to much complicated but after the explanation looks not to hard
I will order and do over the weekend while stay warm her in md
Good luck!
Can’t get mine to work in Lux 07 h2. Will both work when reattaching one old headlight on either side. When old headlight is unplugged the led onestops working.
Should have shown it during day with grill installed too.
My apologies I had to return the vehicle to it's owner that night. I have other videos of the hummer that you may be able to catch a glimpse of the complete install. Thanks for watching
What size lights are the new ones or what do you search to find those lights like that?
Thanks
where did you get those headlights, how much did they cost do you still recommend them ?
I didn't purchase them and they're not on my vehicle. But I know they are still functioning fine on the truck.
hey ThatAccordGuy, So I did the same, everything works great & great helpful video! Question, I just got my fog lights that match like the headlights (halo also does the orange blinker feature) anyways there is no info on how to wire it in out there.. would it be wrong to think that i could just marry the wires with the headlights (dtr lights and blinker)? your input would be helpful (: thanks!!
Glad you found the video helpful! Yes! You can just splice into whatever wires that you want your new Halo fog lights to come on with as well as the blinkers. That should work just fine.
thanks a bunch!
hello, I used your video to install the Jeep headlights on the H2. I am trying to install Jeep fog lights but the adapter is different. Do you know what adapter is needed and where to find?
Sorry no I don’t have that info. I’d check eBay. Might have to cut and wire it in
What brand are the light?
Can i jus put them in without the drl and turn signal option and jus have the headlights on
Thanks for the video! I've got an H2 as well, just put in a set of headlights, no cutting required on mine. For the turn signal and halo to operate, do I need to tap into the turn signal's blue/brown to the headlight's short red/green wires?
Yep whatever you'd like to tap into for your source you can as long as you waterproof it. LEDs don't draw much current so the circuit can handle it.
what were those headlights called, it seems like every one i find i would have to cut
@@halfironman4003 can't recall at the moment, will look again soon.
Got them off e-bay, see details below, think the bottom number is the item number, good luck!

Hey I’ve gotta do this to my H2! What brand of headlight is that?
I didn't actually buy the lights so I'm not sure on that unfortunately
What model was the jeep headlight you used?
I have the same lights I'm looking to install on my H2 I'm trying to avoid hardwiring. Was there an adapter you could've gone with instead of hardwiring to do a plug and play?
There was not an adapter that I'm aware of. The person that had me install these didn't provide one. You could use crimp on spade terminals male and female if you would like for them to be removable. The connections won't be as water tight however.
yes they make a kit for it you can find it on ebay it's 9007 HB5 to H13 9008 I have the same lights I purchased the kit separately it all works great.
@@MrDoniva Nice! I didn't know they made that! That would certainly simplify the install
Yes there is an h4 adapter i just seen one
doniva moore what headlights are these?
You Damn Genius 🙏🏻
Lol nahhh
Do you have a link to the headlights
Did you do fog lights?
nice video bro.. im doign this project myself... but wut happened to the actual DRL/ fog lights??
Thank you! They should still function as designed, they're just tapped.
Fellow H2 owner here. Great vid. How did the beam placement come out? Are you able to adjust them at all?
I believe I retained the factory adjustment on them, but I can't recall for sure. I think I mounted it to the part that adjusts still.
@@ThatAccordGuy I took a closer look and found the whole housing adjusts, not just the light, like older cars use to do. I've already ordered my lights. Thanks for the vid. Always looking for new ways to jazz my Hummer.
No problem man! Happy to help
I just installed the headlights I tapped the turn signal from the blueishgreen wire to the green then brown to red and turn signals still work but the headlights halo does not turn amber when blinker is on also the halo isn’t coming on at all.... need help
I don't have the vehicle to help you diagnose the issue as far as wire colors go. Do you have a way to use a multimeter or test light to verify that you tapped into the correct wires?
Actually got them working good, the day time run light fuse was out and the my blink wire I used was fried
@@nathanielhart1574 glad to hear you got it sorted out man
Hi man, can you share:
-Part, model number or name of those Jeep headlights to find them?
-The diameter size of the H2 headlights? I'd also like to check if this upgrade will work in an H3. Thanks!
I have the link to them but that is about it. It's not my vehicle to measure.

Hopefully that helps bro
@@ThatAccordGuy This should it. Thanks for the reply!
WHAT YEAR JEEP LIGHTS DID YOU USE?
Sorry I'm not sure, I wasn't the one who purchased
Question did anyone have a rgb Bluetooth remote how did the wiring go
Man I just done my 06 H2 this same way but now after a week my right signal light won’t work. Tried installing new led flasher module and signal switch and no luck of it getting fixed.
Bummer man. You have power on the line? You try another bulb?
Hi, just wondering if these will fit in h3 2006? Thanks!
I think the h3 lights are smaller... Not entirely sure though. You'd have to measure and reference the overall size of your lights and the Jeep lights.
What kind of led lights are you running
Unfortunately not my vehicle but they're all part of one assembly. No bulbs required.

Nice conversion💯 And now, I'm about to find lights for my '03. Thanks for the push!😂 So y not just use Hummer lamps? I guess the jeep ones are cheaper? Or he just had them already and wanted to use em?
I guess he liked the looks of the Jeep ones and heard that they would fit with some modifications. Good luck with yours!
Thanks for this upload! What do you think the chances are that these lights will also fit a HUMMER H3? Would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this... Thanks in advance... Rico BTW... Thumbs up on this upload.
That's a good question... I'm not entirely sure if they'd fit. I'd measure the diameter of the lights in your car and see if they'd be a good fit. I'm not positive but I believe these lights were 6 or 7 inches. I'm sure it says on Amazon how big they are. Making them fit might be different if the brackets are different as well. Never worked on an H3!
Thanks for watching Rico!
@@ThatAccordGuy - Thank you so much for your quick response! I'm definitely going to do a little research on this and see what my options are. Stay safe Brother... Rico
Hey bro, I'm wanting to do the same, I'm having a difficult times with the wires
What seems to be the trouble?
@@ThatAccordGuy I've never soldered before, I've seen how I'm just kinda worried
It's really not too hard man. Best way to learn is experience! Practice with some wires that aren't important first until you've got it down!
@@ThatAccordGuy Hey man do you have any suggestions for a soldering kit
www.amazon.com/dp/B06XZ31W3M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_xkkwFbT1WY0C3
I'd give this kit a shot. Nice and cheap
Honestly would have been better if you show the wiring part. For the turn signal too
Thanks for that advice man. I'll keep that in mind for a future video. Sometimes I get ahead of myself and forget to film things.
ThatAccordGuy96 yea man, keep up the good work tho. Stay on that grind
He explained what went to what tho. Not that hard to figure out
Does everyone have to do the game music
That's not the DRL. DRL lights are the ones on the bumper (looks like the fogs) comes on when in drive. You didn't wire it correctly fyi...
Thanks for your insight

If only u used crimped connectors 👍🏼
You do you man 😂
has anybody tried to put the new jeep mopar LEDs on a hummer h2?...i'm about to try...it will take some serious mods..here are the lights
