When I was in first year of highschool me and a couple buddies were walking a long back road to go to a party. Neither of us had drank or anything yet. But it was dark and just barely raining so we were all going shirtless cause it was hot and muggy outside and we been walking a good while so the rain felt nice? We noticed headlights in the distance coming around a blind corner so we figured it was weird and random three young guys on foot no shirts that far out of town plus ppl fly through there. So we jumped across the ditch into a clearing in the bush that opened up into a field.. All three of us stopped as we spotted a tall upright animal like figure maybe 20 yards out that took off running on hind legs as soon as we entered the field and so we hightailed it back to the street right as the car was passing. Sure the guy driving had a lot of questions but we kept running. Both my friends came to the conclusion it was a werewolf, only explanation I had was a horse running on hind legs but that makes just as little sense considering it took multiple strides in a run. Still no idea what that was and dont tell that story often considering a werewolf encounter isn't very believable.. But my buddy has phoned me to back his story when he's called out for bs lol. Was it the dog man? a samsquanch? an athletic horse? Ill never know

I appreciate the shout out as someone had just mentioned this to me. I want to clarify that I speak "as a matter of fact" that Sasquatch are a flesh and blood human-type ancient race who are ALSO interdimensional. I know this through ongoing contact with the same hairy family since 2012 with hundreds of encounter incidents that include many incidents of physical contact (I've even been hugged from behind), telepathic incidents, orb activity directly related to the family that has happened both outdoors and indoors. I've developed written communication (yes they know how to write and they know ALL language). Apports are very common with marbles being used for the most part. I've witnessed so many marbles appear from thin air that it's normal in our visits. Sasquatch are people, they have names as we do. They're advanced in their understanding of energy and consciousness. What I've posted publicly has zero embellishment. It's not "belief", it's fact from a massive amount of personal experience given over the course of close to a dozen years now. The truth of Sasquatch will have massive implications once science can no longer deny their reality. They know more of what's going on in this world than we do. According to them, they're before humans.

I live in northern Ontario and after 5 years on 30 acres I ran across a large primate type creature that I chased after getting within 20 feet of it to confirm what my eyes had seen. Long slender thin arms and a long thin fuzzy tail that it used like a kangaroo to help propel itself when it leaped off the path before I took off after it. It had hateful glowing yellow rings in its eyes, was white and yellowish fuzzy all over except its black leathery almost dog like but stubby like a monkeys mouth area. It didnt open its mouth but I could tell it had large canines. I typed in devil ape when i got back to the cabin and sure enough devil monkeys are a thing. They will attempt to hypnotize you with their eyes

I remember its tail was very long and curled up like a rope before it leaped a great distance maybe 10-15 feet. I cant be 100% certain it used its tail to help with the jump but I believe it did. Once I ran over to where it had been standing it was about 20 feet away on a tree and was bobbing back and forth from behind the small trees trunk to which it was clinging. I felt it was tying to hypnotize me with its large yellow glowing eyes and when I glanced around for a rock to throw at it it jumped to the tree next to it. Not wanting it to follow me I backed away as it jumped from tree to tree getting farther away until it was out of view. A lady who has lived in the area for 30 years told me she came across a severed raccoon head with no sign of the body on one of my properties trails about 20 years ago. She said she wondered what type of creature could have done that because a bear wouldn't do that, just sever the head cleanly and leave it... I said maybe it was a Sasquatch and she laughed and laughed

The tunnel monster legend is almost straight out of Lovecraft - what with the whole "ancient races burrowing beneath a modern metropolis and occasionally emerging to scare the bajeesus out of us surface apes" theme it has. I thought I saw one in Hamilton near one of the old water pumping/power stations. It was probably just a naked crackhead, but still, I wonder sometimes...

When i was a teenager, I was walking by the lake with my friend and my brother. I didn't see it, because it was only visible for a few seconds. But at the same time, they both pointed and yelled "badger mole". They said it scurried into the water as sson as they saw it. I never saw it, but ever since then, the legend of badger mole was born.

Not a cryptid, but there's a campsite in ON that's reportedly very haunted -many stories of spontaneous fires, ghost sightings and sounds. While watching a TV doc about it many years ago, my father told me he'd been there and there is a very bad vibe there so he didn't stay long. I forget where it is, so if anyone can fill me in, please comment

@strangenorth I wish I could remember. I've searched a few times and couldn't find anything on it. My father camped quite often on the Bruce peninsula, so possibly in that region. I do remember it was a camp ground - not any town or structure.

Champlain actually described the monster he saw in Lake Champlain in great detail. See "Vermont History at Home: Champ, the Lake Monster.
You also missed Bessie, The Owen Sound Serpent, and Kingstie, who live in Lake Ontario, Lake Huron and Lake Erie, respectively. All of those lakes make far more sense than Lake Simcoe for being the home of lake monsters. You should check out Great Lakes Guide for more
