Next time disconnect the bottom banjo at the caliper, drain into your "brake bleeding awesomeness recreational apparatus." That way you don't risk getting any on the paint and you don't have to fill the bottom of the bottle with good fluid you are going to throw away anyway.
Curious how much the project cost approx and did you notice a big difference? I am told the issue with the rubber brake line is that when you brake and the fluid is pushed through the rubber tube, the tube expands and doesn't do its job well. The metal line doesn't expand when the brake fluid is pushed through it so it improves stopping. Is this what you know to be true and is that why you went with the metal brake lines?
It never occurred to me to do this. I think I'll have to give it a go!
Kenny could you provide a list of part numbers for what you are using for your brake line? Why the rotor change? yours worn out or did you just want to get that cool old school 80's look?

Great video as always. Question..Why are your forks rotating when you installed the pads and the wheel.
ranterbul Thanks for watching! the fork lowers are separate to each other, so they are able to rotate when the front wheel is removed. The uppers remain solid, its only the fork lowers that move, it is completely normal.
