Can't help thinking Orchestra seems to be giving you the most stress and time, and it's the one thing you thought at the beginning you didn't want to do, as least relevant for you. It should get easier once you're familiar with the music, but if not, trust your instincts, don't over stretch yourself - big picture!
I believe it is the copper pans that don't work on induction hobs. You can test your saucepans for compatability with a magnet. Hoping to get an induction stove myself in time. I definitely think that a wall oven installed to suit your height is a good idea. They are made with doors that slide in so minimal danger when removing heavy casseroles etc from hot ovens. Worth looking into. The extractor is definitely worth having. It will be a major means of reducing grease if you have a working one. Thank you for the video!
There's an induction hob in the place we stay in Cornwall. They have induction pans but normal ones too. At some point someone has cracked the corner of the hob and over the years the crack is getting worse. I believe they are expensive to replace Don't use an extractor. If any extracting is needed then I open the kitchen door which goes outside
The Germans have invested a LOT of time working on growing straight bananas. This is so banana bunches take up less space when being transported thus reducing transport costs.
We have electric hob but grew up with gas and i do think gas is faster also as my mum always said if have power cut with gas can always cook ,in 70's as child loved a power cut ,we used to sit in kitchen lovely and warm and fed 😅
I had a induction hob in my old house, they are alright until they brake 🤦🏻♀ I really want a eye level grill cooker, I think they are so cute lol and you cant beat cheese on toast on a eye level grill, I have a cheap regular cooker coming this weekend but in the future really want one, reminds me of my childhood xx
You don’t technically “need” an extractor fan but I would always have one. It draws out moisture/helps with humidity as much as the cooking smells. Which in your case would also be beneficial to asthma flare ups In terms of induction cookers, I’ve had one for 8 years now and wouldn’t go back. Yes, you need specific pans, but most brands these days sell them at a comparable price to any other pan. I find it cooks faster, saves energy, it’s easier to clean, and it’s safer because it cools down so quickly
Oh ib opening that with a tin opener 😳 made me laugh as its something that my husband would do 😅❤ As for cookers I'm no expert except I once had a gas cooker & I burnt every saucepan handle that I owned 🙈 was rather lethal in my hands so I have an electric ceramic top cooker does the job for me , extractor fans are handy but not essential stops most of steam when I over boil my veg 😂👍 best of luck with yours . Thank you for fab vlog again ❤
Hi Imo Just remember gas is far cheaper than cooking with electricity. Plus you can still cook with gas during a power cut. I have a ceramic hob with one induction ring and it's a nightmare to keep clean. X
The one thing I like about gas is, if the power goes out you can still cook, and have some heat. If my electric stove dies, I will get a gas one. We also have a gas fireplace, and not only does it keep us toasty warm, but again, if the power goes out, we have heat. Cute outfit!. Great choice of buffet food.
Don't buy induction. Gas cooker is the best. I have had 2 induction cookers and the only thing which is good is the electric fan oven. Hobs should be gas. It is so fast and quick with gas. Induction pans are so slow. Rubbish.
I think cleaning relieves stress because it gives you a sense of control, because it's something that you're able to manage easily and see an end result quickly. So it's one less thing you have to worry about. 😊🫧🪣🧹

I agree x
I’d definitely get an extractor fan. Gets rid of steam, fumes from frying and cooking smells. Love all your videos by the way! ❤

Morris dancers are fun to watch! That was a great gig, cheers
I'm across the pond, and I love watching Morris dancers on TV programs! I hope to see them in person someday. 😊
Love my ceramic electric hob. V easy to clean.

In Texas, my electric stove is so slow compared to gas! And you can still use gas if you lose electricity.

Isn't it weird how - as a dyslexic person you struggle to read words but you can read music...we are complex creatures aren't we...?
