The original plan was 340 for a year or 2 then upgrade to the F80. But after having my 340 for these last 2yrs, it fills all my check boxes. Here in the pnw xdrive is a must. Now if I wanted a track car it would definitely be the F80 though.
The 340i is definitely more than enough to satisfy! Especially with the B58!
Very interesting video. I would agree with you on a lot of points. I live in New England as well and I would much rather drive the xdrive in the winter which is why I have the 340.
Makes total sense!!!! That’s why I still keep a B58 powered car in my garage! You’ll see which one in an upcoming video!
I live in NH and love my 340i xdrive in the snow and all year round, but the F80 M3 is my ultimate dream car. Might not be as good in the snow, but they are just a proper performance machine compared to the 3 series. Suspension especially as he stated.

The M-Sport package is a must!
I think he felt that way with his 340 because it was black. If you get a white/blue or grey 340 you can get carbon fiber hood/ mirror caps spoiler etc and people would notice it more

Hows the road noise?? Funny talking about attention in the f30 vs f80. I get people drooling ove f30 constantly/daily. People always giving me thumbs up and saying nice car ..... Depends how you have it modified. A lot of people think it's an m3 but that's because most people don't know the difference haha.
The road noise is not too bad at all! There’s a bit of a hum when you are driving, but nothing too crazy! And yeah really? I noticed a big difference between the F80 and F30. Maybe it was just me not noticing xD. A lot people didn’t know what these cars have under the hood and misjudge it.
