Hi GENA ! To me all Hoyas looks like backyard blasted weeds. My all time favorites are Saintpaulias, have few singles : blue, purple, violet, amethyst, eggplant, white, pink. Biggest is 13" smallest 3" (mini) they have a neon intensity of color I have never seen anywhere ( well, maybe in paint section of art supply store) . They often give me butterflies when I look at them... All solid colors, no asymmetrical variegated plants in my collection, ( to me they look like with psoriasis or other human incited abuse). I like your videos, wish you could move more about your place.💛💙💜🤍
Hi! Depending on where you live they can grow like weeds!!!! The more humid the more weed-like LOL. Yay....happy to find another fellow lover of the Saintpaulias :). Thank you!!! I appreciate that!!! I do film a lot in my office because it is quiet and doesn't bother the other family members...in other words...it's easiest. But I'll try to move into other rooms or at least show other rooms more often. Thanks for the suggestion.
I am going to vote for the Rhipsalis paradoxa! I have a young linearis that I truly adore…but, I have always wanted a paradoxa! When I find one locally I will for sure pick it up and bring it home with me!
Rhipsalis gets my vote this week, although I do love the linnearis. Always enjoy your collection, as you don't just have the current fad plants, but also have the old standards as well. Proves you can master growing all of them, from cacti to begonias. Your channel is the best!❤❤❤
Thanks Deborah! I’ve always been more drawn to the classics rather than “rare” fad plants. Although I do appreciate all plants and would never turn down a rare one 😊. Thank you!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
That’s a tough one! Good choices for comparison. I’ll pick the Linearis, only because I have one and love it. But the Rhipsalis is definitely on my wish list!
As for your Feb faves! Gosh, the begonias are fabulous!! Also love African Violets but think it's too dry down here to try them! Also, love the succulents and cacti!
You are so sweet thank you!!!! I may not have thousands upon thousands, but all of you that are already here are amazing!!!! I couldn’t ask for better 🥰🥰🥰. Thank you Wendy 💕💕💕💕💕💕
2 votes for the Hoya. Although we both like the paradoxa and think, maybe I should add 1 to my collection also. Your choices for plants this past month are all wonderful. And yes, add begonias to your shop. Because I'm going to break my New Year's resolution for sure darn it. We're both in a hurry for the video on the grow tent. We are pretty sure it would be our happy place too.😊😊😊
Derek said I should just put a chair in there lol. I need a bigger tent for that 😂. You would LOVE the paradoxa!!! I’m surprised you don’t already have one. I’ve been slacking on my shop mostly because I don’t have any Hoya to add which is the main thing I want to have in there. I’ll see about adding some different plants 😊. Especially now that it’s truly almost spring!!! Only a couple weeks away 🥰.
My vote is for the Rhipsalis paradoxa. Putting a full pot of Hoya linearis against a sparse pot of the paradoxa is not fair! People who have never seen a full pot of paradoxa might choose the linearis!
A full pot of paradoxa probably would annihilate the linearis lol. They are very similar looking only the linearis is much more delicate looking I think. I knew they’d be a good matchup 💚💚💚.
Hey Gina the Pings are so super cute and love all the pink and purple you can get on them but haven’t tried myself yet. I have a absolutely beautiful Hoya Linearis and it’s one of my favourite plants so had to be that but it was close the rhipsalis paradoxa is just gorgeous
Pings are super easy. If you enjoy the looks of them I highly recommend trying one out. They are just so sweet (probably literally lol) and adorable. Thanks for sharing your favorite!!! 💚💚💚
Hey Gena! I have to go with the Rhipsalis. They are relatively new to me and I only have a couple so far. As far as other plants go, I love begonias. The cane begonias that get big! I have a couple that will get 2 or 3 feet high during the summer and bloom like crazy. I cut them back hard in fall and propagate! I just picked up a couple of harmony begonias and I can't wait to see what they do this summer. They are messy, but I keep them on my screen porch.
Hi Sue! I agree they are messy. I have a couple of harmony begonias too. Looking forward to watching them grow!!!! Thanks for sharing your favorite 💚💚💚
Rhipsalis and Hoya both have that awesome factor. Hoya do get the amazing blooms though which is extra special. Rhipsalis bloom too but nothing like the Hoya blooms. Thanks for sharing your favorite!!!! 💚💚💚
Hi Gena. I vote for the Hoya linearis. Both of your pots of linearis are so full and beautiful. 😍 I don’t have any Ripsalis, have never seen any in real life. Maybe if I did I would appreciate them more. 🧐
Hi Karen! They feel like succulents basically. Very similar. The best thing about them for me is the amazing growth pattern. This paradoxa is so different with its twisty growth pattern. So cool. Thanks for sharing your favorite of the two 💚💚💚.
Hi Gena Hope your having a great Sunday! I found a begonia at Home Depot said was a Rex… I’m like nope turns out it’s a Kingiana it’s smooth and literally looks like a turtle 🐢, have you seen before? I love your pink begonia! I’ve yet to get an angel wing begonia, Rex I kill lol :) My moms best friend use to cross pollinate many many violets, at times she would have 100’s of different ones, they were beautiful! Have a great week :)
Hi!!! I am thank you 🥰. I hope you are as well. Oh wow!!! That’s so awesome that you found the kingiana at Home Depot. I had no idea they sell them there. I do own one that I purchased online last year. I love how they look like turtles 💚. One day I’d love to get to the point of creating my own hybrids. So cool!!! Have a great week too!!!! 💕💕💕
I love my linnearis but I vote for the rhipsalis, I hope some day to have that one. Thanks again for a great video. I would love buying succulents from you as you have so many beauties. I love mine .

Have you considered taking cuttings from your rhipsalis to fill in the pot? It looks so empty.
I do plan to chop it eventually. To be honest, I kind of like how it looks lol. I have it right on the very edge of a shelf and it hangs down with a white background/wall and just looks so neat to me. A minimalist look. That’s why I’m not in a big rush to cut it up 😊.
This is hard. I choose the Rhipsalis. My Hoya L. had 3 blooms then died. No hoya's for now.
Oh no!!!! Sorry to hear that 😢. Thanks for sharing your favorite 💚💚💚.
