After having some weird addiction to Mirrors edge and having obvious addictions to dead rising and dead island, I half knew a game like this would last a long time, but I wasn’t expecting it so soon.
I played DL right when I went into the military, definitely one of the last periods of when games were good. This coming out and I know they will do a great job makes me feel like a kid again excited to play. Brings a small tear to my eye.

Comically enough lil closed minded on my part but I loved dead island... then i played Dying light 1... could never go back to Dead Island (despite getting so many loved hours out of it)... Dead Island 2 announces (again)... Me: "Nah Im good I got dying light 1,2" (yes aware Dying light 2 cant even hold a candle to 1 but still.)

I only got into this game this year. It’s crazy to me that it’s ten years old. Everything about the experience impressed me, and I can only imagine the game was mind-blowing upon first release. This just proves the importance of execution and hard work when it comes to game development. Dying Light could have easily been botched in a million ways, but somehow it manages to stick the landing
Been with you since dead island. Mistakes have been made but few developers put as much post release work into games as much as you do, so your a great team in my book. I can STILL remember seeing that demo for dying light 1 staring brecken and being blown away. The game then went on to surpass said demo. Happy 10 years, here's to many more 🎉

I’m one who loved both games! Technland has continued to absolutely blow my mind with two games I never knew I could love games so much. The parkour that gave to me, the STORY that gave to me as a young man. Wouldn’t trade it for the world 🎉 Congrats you guys!!
so unbelievably hyped for the beast. they finally listened to their fanbase and not only brought back crane, but it also looks like it’ll be as scary and horrific as the first. Hopefully this brings life back into dying light. Will be streaming (to anyone that cares to subscribe)!
I played this game for the first time last year on Series X, and it was a delight. I have over 60 hours of playtime, and after I finished the game, I kept coming back just to explore the slums.

Dying Light 2 was incredible and the fact that it didn't even get a single nomination at that years awards was a bummer. All of the love and care the devs put into that game was so refreshing to see in an open world. First open world game I was able to finish since Far Cry 5 and breath of the wild

THE most fun movement system in any game I've experienced so far. So fluid & smooth. Not out of control for my hands. I have cupidal tunnel & carpil tunnel syndrome in both so I super appreciate when devs let you move this way with out having to absolutely destroy hands.
By far the best zombies post apocalyptic game I’ve played, evolved as a game and all the physics and new aspects and the domino effect on the story, I hope the team surprise us with their ingenuity and ideas that brought us to love the series so much. Both DL1 & 2 are amazing in their own ways. People have a lot of things they claim they don’t like just because they’re always comparing the games rather than enjoying what we’re playing for what it is just like the first time.
