Swapping a Rolex GMT-Master II for a rose gold Oysterflex Yacht-Master 40. This is the previous reference 116655 from 2016. The unexpected weight of the precious metal comes as a surprise when compared to the steel Batman.
A lady decides to consign her huspands redundant Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch with the hesalite crystal. Again this is the previous generation model and it has some wear and tear visible which may warrant a watch crystal replacement.
A customer who previously purchased a Datejust 41 Wimbledon has come in with plans to expand his Rolex collection. The watch in question is none other than the discontinued Submariner Hulk reference 116610LV.
Jon’s customer, as promised, has come back to trade in the Tudor Black Bay 58 he bought 6 months ago from us, for a Rolex Yacht-Master 40. Sad to see the Tudor go but glad to collect his dream slate dial, platinum bezel timepiece.
A gent is looking to buy the 36mm Omega Seamaster Quartz. Will the size be a problem or is this one a good fit?

Chopard to Roma .
I recently called in to see you gents, I had a Chopard watch that needed the strap changing. Jon generously offered to change it for me, even tho I didn't buy the watch or the strap from you. You had a bit of hassle changing it, took you the best part of half an hour to get it right, and you wouldn't except any payment from me. I then asked if you could have a look at an old 70,s Roma watch, that my late father won a long time ago, and it was in a bit of a state. Well Hondo went above and beyond with it, he expertly made it all like new, even finding a brand new old stock crystal in a box of bits he had recently bought. He even gave me the crystal free of charge. I cant thank you lads enough, you have made my year.
The gents here are just watch lovers, old or new, expensive or budget, if its got a story ( as my Roma has ) all the better. 5***** service, honest and genuine if you have any watch queries, please don't hesitate to contact these fine fellows, Im 100% sure they will look after you properly. By a country miles these guys are the best uk UA-cam watch traders. Piss over trotters and GMG. These guys are honest great price wanna work a deal and tell you what they are buying/selling for. Unlike trotters who don’t say there price on UA-cam as more than likey they are pulling customers pants down hence hiding the prices. Keep up the good work lads!

Hi John, when the watch is inspected in the workshop an assessment will be made regarding the depth of the scratches and the best course of action will be determined. Thank you
@@Watchtrader you don't need a workshop to inspect if you know hesalite glass. Use your fingernail to gauge the depth of the scratch.

So Rob the American's grail watch is the VC Rose Gold with the blue dial, but also not a big fan when it comes to the Daytona Meteorite dial because of the Rose Gold? Lol
I don't care for Rolex's Everose gold. I think it's too shiny and cheap-looking.
I don't mind VC's version of rose gold which is more subtle. When you replace the all-rose gold bracelet with the blue rubber strap it looks fantastic! I didn't explain my reasoning well.

Jon gets a lot of stick for his buying prices but how many other dealers are as open about what they buy for. Not the London wide boys, the Scouse gits, or that Honest Guy from Yorkshire. DOTWs are good too!!
