@@kengray1663 dude in 20 years, you are the first person to get that. I was making an Xbox Live account back then to play Halo online, and I tried to use the name MrBungle, but it was already taken, so it asked me what else I liked. I typed "Dog Fashion Disco, then suggested the name "Mrbungledisco". I've used it ever since lol. I wasn't a big fan of Disco Volante, but I will probably give it another go sometime soon. Mr Bungle's first album was gold to me, and Dog Fashion Disco seemed to carry the spirit of that album on with their work, at least in my opinion.
Yes! Finally! This does sound good now. Nice video quality! Thank you Ministry! Interesting to hear anything from With Sympathy in the Band’s current musical style. Look forward to hearing more 😉 I saw the interview video with Uncle Al which mentions plans of Ministry to perform some With Sympathy tracks in the Band’s current musical style. Yes! 🖤🫱🌹 😎
I was always hoping that Ministry would finally come around and play some of their With Sympathy (and Twitch) songs on their terms (metal) on their current shows, and now it is finally happening! 😎
Damn! This is amazing. I thought it would be way more likely for every original member of The Beatles to get back together this year than to see Al ever perform anything off “With Sympathy”
@@marioalexanderski9598 it is a cover when a different band performs it. this is the same band same singer that composed the song originally. only difference is that ministry moved from synthpop to industrial rock and metal

Agreed! I heard Al is willing to re record 4 With Sympathy songs now in the current Ministry style, which are the 4 songs on the Album that Al wrote with the least label interference.
It's been so long..and a change of sound..that Al needs a lyric sheet on his podium to get all the words right. That's funny! As for the performance..it's probably about as true as his current metal configuration could pull off..I mean, Al doesn't sing anything remotely the same nowadays. It's neat that he revisited this..after being so against it in the past. Kudos.

Wasn't sure how I was going to feel about remaking this, but I think they nailed it. I'm glad Al re-visited this
Agreed. It is a perfect mix of old and new. As a fan of both sounds it is a true gift to hear. Love your username btw 🤘
@@keashindle thanks! Most people don't know about that :)
Thank you for sharing the video, I really enjoyed it
Just curious if you're name is a combo of Mr bungle and DFD? Or is the disco referencing the Mr bungle album?

As someone who loves both darkwave and metal this is great actually
I was always hoping that Ministry would finally come around and play some of their With Sympathy (and Twitch) songs on their terms (metal) on their current shows, and now it is finally happening! 😎
I always dreamt this day would come, Al finally playing a "With Sympathy" song (even if it's metal) 😎😎😎😎
Whoa! I had no idea he started playing his old-school bangers again. This is awesome!
I hope he'll revisit Over The Shoulder.
Yeah, Over the Shoulder would translate really well to modern Ministry. Relevant too.

Here you go - Over the Shoulder yesterday at Cruel World Festival in Pasadena
@@timurtunador2 Haha! Gentleman, thank you. That gave me chills. It looks like Uncle Al really favoured Twitch in this performance.

The best cover version of his own song many years later. LOVE IT!! I'd love for Uncle Al to just cover the entire album.
what are you talking about? this is not a cover they are playing. its an original song from them. they just haven't play it in a long time. thats it

Now they should do SAME OLD MADNESS!!!!
Yes!
And Over The Shoulder
fantastic metal version
i’m glad al revisted this simply amazing
It's still got a bit of a New Wave sound in it! Great job Uncle Al!
FULL CIRCLE!!!!!!
They rocked!
I got sudden goosebumps
needs more cowbell
Many comments, but the reenconter with the past was good. After all that's where Ministry started.
Always a great song I'm glad he embraced it again.
This is great video quality and good sound for a concert video. Thanks for sharing!
I appreciate it!
Love it. Al is a musical genius.
This is brilliant song! 👍🙏🥰
Love it! Modern version of original. Fits perfect to day Ministrys giglist!

Freaking awesome!!🤘😈🤟🤜🤛✊👊👏👏👏♥️🦇👍
So excellent to hear this
WOW - I thought Al had thrown this in the bin, he was so dismissive of their first album - Great to hear it live so many decades later
He had to finally admit it is a damn good record
Happy that he will do older songs on the tour 😅
I'm so glad someone got this on video. I was at this show along with 15,000 other Freaks. 🤘🖤
Awesome!
Bravo!!!
I like it

Thanks Britney! Like omg thats so fetch
Good en masse , AL knows best. He’s a genius underrated as f….⚡️🔥
Alive and Kicking !!!! 👋😎👌
i surprised al still can move on stage
anyway 'with sympathy' is the best record he ever made
Seriously the best band ever! ❤
Fuckin awesome!!!!!
Id like to see them
No esperaba que Al cantara de nuevo esta canción pero le quedo súper esta versión.
Wondering if a studio version will drop soon?
Great video!!! Sadly, they dropped “Revenge” after a few shows.
I didn’t know that! Unfortunate.
Shame........I saw the band on the "With Sympathy" tour at the Ritz in NYC back in 1984!
Luckily they played it in Raleigh, NC!
They’ll play it again
Yeah...THAT's more like it...
I'm so upset they didn't play this in Nashville for freaks on parade. I don't understand why we didn't get the privilege I'm so upset.
Sound like a Rob Zombie cover this!
Al should just re-record all of “With Sympathy” like this.

In all fairness, I expected this to be worse. Original far better.

I'm disappointed that he omitted the third and best stanza of the song.
