1 tip I'd like to suggest is remembering that dungeons arent the only way to upgrade Tri. There are some areas with rifts that you can enter despite not being part of the main quest, making it easier to get better powers
I looooove how creative the game allows you to be! Having to attack from a distance/indirectly all the time is so fun, very different from using a hand weapon. The only thing I'm disappointed about so far (aside from the bad framerate at times) is the side quests' length. The quest log looks super similar to BotW/ToTK's and I thought side quests would require you to travel around Hyrule and find hidden things or solve mysteries, but after 5-6 hours of gameplay, I realize that these side quests all take about a minute to solve, and always in the close vicinity to the quest givers. Thus far it feels like once you've gone through an area, you won't have any reason to come back.
I like all of these tricks except the Crawltula one. I'm glad i didn't know about it because it trivializes a lot of the challenges for out of reach items.
I have been trouble figuring out how to use all the echoes but this video has helped a lot honestly. I keep wanting to play the game like it's a regular Zelda game but this one really makes you think outside the box!
2:03 You can also combo him with the frog that brings Rain, any eletric creature will take advantage of this combination, the eletric bat is a good combination too, also you can use the rain to stop fire and do damage to fire enemy's
My tip: as soon as you get 5 echo capacity go to the northern most temple in the Faron Wetlands and get the Darknut Lv. 3. He obliterates just about everything! Also the Lynel is in the lost woods area.
it’s my favorite zelda game of all time - creative, cosy, easy enough but with healthy little challenges, and so many clever callbacks and really solid worldbuilding too. it feels like Zelda but also like something fresh that i’ve never played before. first Zelda where i’ll actively avoid all plot and lore spoilers until i’m genuinely done with everything i want to explore
im glad the internet is still healthy without spoilers galore. maybe its just my algorithm but speedrunners and plot spoilers are NOT in my feed. just folks providing tips and glitches.
In relation to 12, you can also do a side quest later in the game for the Great Fairy to get an accessory that dings when you approach might crystals. Very useful, and unfortunately I did not find this until WAY late - I was already about to take on the final boss. Once a chest appears on one side, open it to get a might crystal and the quest will trigger. However, it may not be obtainable till the end game - it requires you to do side quests in both the Sea Zora village and Goron City, so you at least have to have completed Eldin Temple, if not Lanayru and Faron temples as well.
another tip: even though some things like poe fire will hurt zelda, she doesnt take damage from water bombs even if they explode while she’s holding them
I REALLY wish Fishing was a thing in this game... Considering you can see little fishies in the water! Lol I always dive in, thinking I might be able to catch them... Really wish you could with a Fishing Rod!
*MAIN BOSS SPOILER ALERT* The main boss (Null) is named null because in most game developing programs, when scripting, the value “null” means “nothing” as a value and rifts & void are basically nothingness. A fun little easter egg
The only problem I had with this game is it doesn’t allow you to create a favorites monster section so you don’t have to keep scrolling to find the ones you need
The bed rest is there by design. Very first thing I thought of when getting that echo was “wait sleeping in beds usually refills hearts in Zelda games?” And sure enough it works. I’m a few hours in and actually found an “exquisite bed” echo and it heals wayyy faster too. So obviously it was part of the design choice. Which is absolutely amazing really
People everywhere mention the crow traversal method but i haven't seen anyone mention the biri method and i feel its superior strictly for distance and speed

Yeah, some of those smoothies' flavors sound really disgusting! Salted milk! Salted butter! Really any butter smoothie! 🤢🤮 But for some strange reason the Salted Milky smoothie is best for restoring health and energy. Some really great early game Echos are the Flying tile and the Platboom. Both are great for traversal and can be found in the gerudo reagon.
@@Terranigma23 It's an old joke. The Legend of Zelda sounds like you're playing Zelda. It's also why some people are calling this title 'The Legend of Link", or joking that you're finally playing Link.
Tbh if link was playable like in the very beginning, then I would have find it amazing. A throwback to snes, but with better style, graphics and movement. (I miss him, still the game is nice.) And for me botw and totk where nice, especially totk,, tho I still prefer the old style zelda.
this ability to cheese basically everything ruined botw/totk and makes this game completely uninteresting to me, personally. LoZ was always about the high of finding a secret or upgrade, now you can just cheat every obstacle
Okay the crow thing is both clever and funny
Crow is one of the best echos
Discovered this one just today, was hoping to see it in this video.
The speedruns for this game are gonna be wild

Great game. These tips are actually pretty decent.
I sadly won’t get this game due to Mario and Luigi also coming out this year and money been tight

Whose idea was it to have the princess gulp salty milk? 😮😂
The Link Special
I think of it as Ayran (yes, that's made with yoghurt, but it's similar enough), then it doesn't sound so bad. 😂

In 2D sections, if you hold up while using an echo, the echo will spawn in your hands, ready to be thrown.
Good tips.

Try Ghost of Tsushima too. That is on par with Ragnarok.
