It's not because vettel is wet weather god. It's because he's Singapore's god. Even with a slower ferrari, he still manages to win the mercedes. He could have easily won 2016's GP if it wasn't for the reliability issues

Takumi Fujiwara Ferrari is the second fastest on the car performance index and is stronger than Mercedes.Also,Benjamin is not very good in Singapore.

I'm gonna go the other way to the commenters on here and say continue R&D! There's always a chance the championship leader could have a car failure and if you win that's 25 points caught! Sure it's a tall order to take the championship but as Murray Walker once said "anything can happen in F1 and it usually does!" Go bold dude :)

Hi Ben. Shouldn't the race have been cut off after one hour since it was a 50% race and it's 2 hours max for a full race IRL? Seems like Codemasters didn't implement this or at least didn't adapt this rule for 50% races.
do you have throttle linearity on? im trying f1 w/o Traction control and i heard throttle linearity is a good way to learn it.

My last race at Singapore ended at lap 53 instead of the whole distance. Was that because there was heavy rain for the whole race and it reached a time limit?

I think you have quite a good shot at passing the Red Bulls, at least in the Drivers Championship.
I say keep up development throughout this entire season to go for that.
In addition, would you cease development, I think it'd be too easy next season to be close to them and even pass them, if that's even possible at this point.
So i say keep going with the development.

The last time I ceased early, I had so much to spend that it made the following season quite easy as will be the result if you cease early with the merc. Make it interesting. You're already beating the red bulls (as shown in the above video) so see how far you can climb this year.

I had rain all weekend in Malaysia but heavy rain. I skipped it all. I can't even drive Malaysia in the dry

*Don't cease development* but, save as much points as you can so, that way you can spend all your resource points at the end of the Abu Dhabi GP and have a highly competitive car from round 1 in Australia next season. Just my suggestion tho :)

Ben I don't think you should cease the R&D for your Mercedes because it will give you less to grind up and make the next season quite easy. It will probably give season 5 less in terms of battling.
But if you do cease R&D I respect your decision.

This track is brutal because it's not necessarily all about the power of the car. Fully upgraded my times are really not that much better than my first season times in my Haas. Not sure how to get good times here. I think the best I've done is 1:42s.

Ceasing R & D is useless... Since you're only getting 25% of the points for next season, but upgrading the car now will make sure you don't waste the 75% of points.
