@theotherhalfoftheang The major concern is temperature. It has a service temperature of -40 to 150°F (-40 to 66°C), so the temperature of the wash and rinse cycle must be within those parameters to ensure the longest life possible.

I bought some at Michael's and am going to use it to glue the cover on my gas cap, which was broken in half by local vandals. Will report in a few days after I'm done to let you know how it's working .

Thank you. I enjoyed your video. I was not sure if E6000 works with the textile side of an aerobed (tiny leak on seam).

As long as you keep the area well ventilated and follow the instructions on the label, you should not have to worry about anything.

@theotherhalfoftheang E-6000 does have a very strong solvent smell. It will, however, dissipate over its drying time of 24 hours. I would recommend that you work in and allow the product to dry in a well ventilated area.

Thank you so much for the great info !! Since the fine glassware I work with can't be exposed to such hight temperatures I think e6000 is just what I need, about the smell.. should I b worry about it even if I use pretty small amouts of glue ?

Do you think this will hold metal to vinyl/pleather/leather?

@Deanna5399 E-6000 will last a long time. A plastic to plastic bond will be almost permanent unless some mechanical separation occurs.

Hello, I love your demo!! I would like to add some bling to my leather motorcycle saddle bags, do you think this will work against the elements?
    Thanks,
    Caroline

E-6000 will be fine against the elements, but UV rays will cause it to yellow and eventually break down. I recommend using the UV stable version, UV-6800.

Would this product work for gluing small pebbles to a door mat/small carpet? If so how many tubes of E6000 would I need to glue approximately 60 pebbles to a 12"x8" mat? Many thanks and a great demo vid, Tom.

MR MOMARTV: please reply to me. I have a spark plug in my car that has stripped the threads. My mechanic failed new threads but after $500 no dice. I used JB Weld to hold the plug but it appears the "weld" has a small hole in the adhesive which allows air to escape past the plug. I need something to penetrate the hole, harden, and not allow the compression of the cylinder to blow it out. It must withstand the heat and pressure of combustion. Would E6000 or another adhesive you sell work?

@theotherhalfoftheang E-6000 is a unique, adhesive formulated to meet high-performance industrial requirements. E-6000 has exceptional adhesion to wood, metal, glass, fiberglass, ceramics, masonry and concrete. It also adheres strongly to leather, rubber, vinyl and many plastics. E-6000 maintains its flexible bond in cold temperatures and may be used to bond items subject to vibration. . It is highly chemical resistant and is safe for applications exposed to dilute acids and dilute caustics.
