- A very old engine dating back to 1949-1952 or so. Not much infomration could be found on this engine.

Sorry for your loss David. She was a gorgeous girl and gave much love as you can see in the photos. She You gave her the most love she ever got and she was blessed by having you in her life. She couldn’t have asked for more so be happy in the knowledge she is thankful for your kind heart ♥️

When the nut and washer come off there is something that flys off behind the motor. Could be the washer. Sorry for your loss.
When it happened I felt something hit my toe, but maybe that was the prop even though I didn’t see it hit my foot. I slowed down the video and saw the direction the washer went. Unfortunately now that I have moved the setup I cannot be sure exactly where I had it set. If the washer is not metallic/magnetic I have little chance of ever finding that washer.

Nice effort on the old OS 29 , too bad it didn't do better.
My old girl just came through a 10 day illness. She's back on all fours now, but I know that her time is running out :(
Question: do you need to put oil in the crankcase on 4-stroke Nitro engines and if so what kind of oil should I use? I have a Saito FA45 if that helps. Thanks!
What purpose would that serve? Have you run a glow powered engine before? The oil in the fuel lubricates the internal components. Perhaps you should clarify your question.

Not the best day to do a vid, Dave. Very sorry. When we lost our last hen we were in tears. No way could I have made a video.
If I were trying to get that engine to run I would have opened the needle right out. But hey, one hesitates to give the master advice! 😉
It is the plug ..get rid of the idle bar.
He put an OS #8 in towards the end of the video with little change of how it ran. It has a head gasket leak you can clearly see fuel bubbling under the head.
Old engines has course threads on the needle,not like today... unsubscribed
