I bought the full product collection and I have been using it for 1 week. I didnt have a skin routine until now. My skin is combination, I am dark medium skin, and have dark spot and pores( sometimes I do get pimples). Its awesome! My skin can be sensitive at time. But this collection is just great. My skin is smooth and my pores are smaller after just 1 week. My husband is so surprised. The cleanse is great!, the day serum dry quick so u have to be very prompt, The retinol is so good and the moisturizer I use just a little bit because my skin get oily with it. Will definitely continue using it.

      He dislikes low quality ingredients
The more sustainable packaging cost 6 times more than typical Inkey list packaging
A fair amount of the proceeds are going to charities unlike 99% of brands.
Don’t know why you expected these factors to not effect the price they have to charge. They must make a profit in order just to keep the brand alive.

@@christy7516 nope, one does not cancel the other, it is not what i said nor what i meant.
hyram’s skincare brand uses a lot of “sustainable” wording in their marketing strategy, much more than the inkey ads. I don’t know the terms in english, so sorry if i mispell, but when you use certain wording in your marketing strategy, packaging, etc, it has an added cost.
Another things I will mention is that some ingredients and formulations can be more expensive to source and develop, that’s why deciem has niod which is more expensive than the ordinary, for example. The quality of the ingredients affect pricing. Also, the inkey list is working towards making their packaging more sustainable, but they are not there yet, it is a commitment that they made. Hyram’s packaging is already recyclable, I think.
I’m sure they marked the prices up a bit much, but I also hope that the quality of the ingredients and formulations are better than the inkey list (i’m not saying the inkey is trash, but i also don’t think they have the best quality)
And just to be clear, i am not a hyram fan, i actually find him a bit annoying haha, but i really am into skincare and i like looking into stuff like this.

I have dry skin and bought the cleanser and moisturizer during launch. The cleanser was a hit for me, did not make my skin feel tight or uncomfortable, did not dry it out. Removed sunscreen really well and lasted me a bit over 3 months while using it every single evening. Maracuja moisturizer, as you said, did not feel moisturising enough even though the texture and feel on the skin is really nice. Will definitely repurchase the cleanser but as for a moisturizer I will stick to Aveeno Calm and Restore Oat Gel one.

The only thing I bought from the line is the cleanser and I actually really enjoy it! Would I buy it again? Maybe. It’s a great cleanser but it’s $20 and cheaper options are definitely available. But I do love the added beneficial ingredients and experience I get with it.

  • @kellyreadingbooks
    @kellyreadingbooks 3 роки тому +4

I’ve been using the full line besides the Salicylic acid serum because I have combo skin that can dry out easily. I started breaking out pretty badly and I can only assume it’s because my skin is sensitive to niacinimide. I was hoping it would be a small enough amount not to irritate it. I started to use it only during the day and not day/night and instead use my curology gel to moisturize at night and it is helping my skin not break out as much. The serums/cleanser should last me longer than the moisturizer as it’s the thing I’m going through the fastest so my plan is to change my moisturizer game and continue with the other products to see if I can get better results. So far after using it for 6 weeks I’m not seeing any major changes in my skin besides my tone being more even. But I’m still getting break outs, not seeing a difference in my acne scarring yet or nose blackheads.

If y’all think his skincare is expensive remember that Hyram does not like to use low quality ingredients and the sustainable packaging costs way more than ordinary, harmful plastic. Also, I think the price is modest, especially compared to other skincare brands such as La Mer, Tatcha, YTTP, Drunk Elephant, etc. Another thing, this line is not meant to be sold on drug stores! It’s verging on the line of luxury skincare, hence its presence in Sephora.

Please *don't* use the TO 30% AHA + 2% BHA.
It is *not* beginner friendly, and is far too strong.
People have given themselves chemical burns from not following instructions correctly.
      Definitely stick to CeraVe.
If you have blackheads and/ or acne, you may want to use CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser for your end-of-day cleanse.
Start off with 2 x per week, see how your skin responds, and if needed, build up to 3 - 4 x per week.
If you don't have these concerns, the CeraVe Cleanser is fine.
Plus you'll need an SPF, of course.
You will need to double-cleanse during the PM to get the SPF and/ or makeup off.
If you find CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion a bit too heavy for your combo skin, you may want to look at CeraVe PM.
It's lightweight, absorbs quickly, and has niacinamide, which can be helpful for regulating sebum.
I use it in summer, then switch over to the Lotion when it gets coolerm
      Lastly, patience.
It takes 28 days for the epidermis to renew itself
I would give any new skincare regime at least 3 months, before you know if it's making a difference.
Obviously stop using a product straightaway if you are experiencing discomfort, or it's flaring up your acne etc.
