@@DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder been out yesterday and this morning giving it a go. The rotation is there now just need a little bit more pop. Great advice. Maybe you can come out with me and show me how it’s done
I think this is an awesome concept, especially because a lot of the people who are trying/ landing inverts, may be the people others are coming to for advice, and there's so much we can learn from these! I think it also may help get more consistent on tricks we have landed, so thank you! Keep up the good work!
This is a great series idea! It can go from basic spins/flips to far more advanced. I'll have to film this weekend so you can coach me up. Keep up the good work David 👍
I'm pretty consistent with a HS backroll and I would like to add my two cents and am curious if David agrees or not. I always take a medium approach and at the bottom of the wake begin to scoop my legs back, stand tall, similar to what he says but two things that really help is that I keep my elbows exactly against my sides and bent 90 degrees. I put my chin my leading shoulder and even when I stand tall I keep the frame of the elbows at the side and bent. I find this really helps control the rotation and keeps from going off axis. Then when I am upside down I look up (which is really looking down) and spot the landing. If I find I am spinning too slowly, I tuck my knees in to increase rotation and if I am spinning too quickly, push the handle away from the boat to slow rotation, either way keeping my eye on the landing then just prepare. Usually I don't have to make any adjustments and the more you explode off the wake, the slower you can rotate. It works for me, and perhaps can help someone else.
I’m UA-cam famous 😂 thanks for the tip Dave, I’ll work on the advice you gave and send in the (hopefully) landed backroll 🤙
You’re more than welcome! Good luck!

Yess! This is all 100% right. If I’m right, you do an old school Backroll instead of a Mexican backroll? Both are sick and I love them each equally.
Hi David!
Love the videos. I have been following you since the early days. I wanted to know where I could send you my videos for some advice?
Hey Dave, can I send you a clip of a backroll attempt to see if you can point me in the right direction?
Booooo. 46 is not Old. Lol
Ahahahah
