they look so young here...
I love this scene. Claire wanted to tell SOMEONE that wouldn’t think she’s crazy or a witch for telling the truth. And I love how it’s Jamie she is able to tell him everything and he believes her
I love this scene. Sam Heughan plays it very well, a man who wants to believe but really doesn't but does trust his wife and becomes a believer when he finally takes her to the stones and she starts to "go" and he desperately drags her back.
"Though it would have been a good deal easier if you'd only been a witch" , and yet, I have to say that'd been a no on that score Jamie.
lol I burst out laughing at that line.
Indeed. Scotland's rate of hunting, torturing, and killing witches -- most of whom were women, of course -- was extraordinarily high, even by the standards of that time. According to the Univ. of Aberdeen's Professor Bill Naphy, “Witches may been seen by guisers today as a bit of fun but in the middle of the 16th century [and extending into the 18th century], they were seen as conspirators trying to destroy society.
“This wasn’t unique to Scotland but the ripples of panic it caused were far reaching with Scotland’s execution rate per head of population about five times the European average."
True. Hell it's hard to be one today in how stupid this country has gone over here. Born with more rights than we have now.
It's hard to admit something like this. I'm from the future too and I'll never admit it to anyone.
If it's true you cannot ever tell anyone.
what year?
Lies. You already admitted it.
Who did you come back to eliminate?

What a wonderful scene between Jamie and Claire! I remember it well! So moving and intimate! I just love the relationship between these two! How they love and trust each other so!
This is just one of the many moments that make Outlander so great for so many of us! I will watch it always! 💙🤍
I love this series so much and waiting until November is going to kill me!!! It's been forever! I read every book. I thought I'd be disappointed with the show, but they've done such a great job condensing all that information into a show. ❤
November!
One of the best series of books and shows. They have done a great job. I am waiting for the next season!
I was wondering "Why is she crying" and then she says "I now what's gonna happen to the Scots".
And being from early XX century she's not even referring to the current situation.
Hervorragende Leistung von Caitriona und Sam .
Ich schaue immer wieder mir die Serie an .
Es lohnt sich aber auch die Bücher dazu zu lesen .
Nicht alles konnte verfilmt werden .
💯💯👍👍💓💗
This is why weepy people can't time travel. The second you tell someone you're from the future, you irrevocably change the future.
still one of my favourite scenes!!!
Never read the books but i enjoyed the TV series so far. Kinda wish there was a bit more time travelling though, especially Jamie going to Claires time....that could be a great TV moment.
The books are a hundred times better than the series.
The ability to time travel is genetic so Jamie won't be able the time travel.
I didn't know the show was based on a book series. Ill get them for Kindle if I can. My eyes aren't like they used to be so I prefer to listen now rather than reading.
@@arikantal7591 They are also available as audio books.
@@Louise-je6dc Yeah, I've been looking around and an app called Musicbee apparently reads audiobooks.
Love it. Specially the first and second season. Amazing actors. I love Jamie, wonderful man, wonderful reaction of trust
This show is so good if you have not watch it PLEASE do. You will not regret it.
Que buena interpretacion .me encanta Outlander la he visto unas cuantas veces😊😊❤❤❤❤
She is one if the most beautiful woman that I have ever seen .
Eye of the beholder, I guess. I routinelly skip over Claire's intimate scenes with Jamie because she is borderline hideous in my opinion and I really don't want to see that. I otherwise like the show though.
They live for each other! ❤😊
What a Fantastic show this AAA+
Love this.
The best scene ever ❤
love this scene
Que buena serie Cait y Sam magníficos
😂
someone is lurking around behind the big Tree where Jamie is sat lol
It's his horse!
I think i started watching this show before most people did ,the moment it was released.
But stopped because of the too much sex scenes.
Like bro i am trying to get into the story not trying to watch porn
That’s what the fast forward button is for.
Espectacular ❤❤❤❤
Yes
😍 Jamie 😍
No matter how many time I comeback from the past to this future…coca cola, tacos, pizza, cheeseburgers…they all taste so good! Especially in México…ciao!
Yes, They are for all better ❤😊
I thought she told him in the very beginning?
I read the books. I watched the videos. The books were better. Somewhere, though, it became pretty trivial. The "rules" for time jumping evolved to meet the needs of the story. Way too many coincidences and unbelievable plot moves even if you accepted the nonsense premise of the time travel (Heck, I'm a Star Trek fan, I'll believe anything if the story holds together.)
Eventually the videos became just "Claire rescues Jamie" then "Jaime rescues Claire". But the last scene was touching, the family coming together.
"I know what's going to happen to the Scots"
Well I'm here and they invented the deep fried Mars bar!!
did you want her to speak about it😂
His accent is AWEFUL - and is actually Scottish
Hmm, my spelling is AWFUL and I'm a native English speaker
This must be the silliest scene in any film ever.
WHY is she undressed? and why isn't she dressing?
becuz she was just whipped and has wounds on her back?

Delicious...
Time slip romances like this are just a way of not facing the reality of women’s lives in the past and pretending that their oppression never happened and thus letting young women think that the freedoms we have today are immutable and can never be taken away.
Get over yourself- you’ll be happier.
Lady, this is the first part of this show I've ever watched, and even I know that you need to chill the fuck out. This is a FICTIONAL STORY.
Yes, everyone knows that life sucked 200 years ago for people in general, and, unless you were upper-middle class or above, especially for women.
Let people enjoy things, okay?
God awful
Going BACK in time is such a HUGE IMPOSSIBILITY that I don't think I can watch ANY show seriously which uses this as a plot device.
Hope you feel the same way about all magic systems used in fiction
I remember this "OUTLANDER." It's been a year or two but my wife and I were riveted. Until Ms. Balfe was being used by the producer in topless scenes and turned this incredible series into shite.
We dropped it for another great series.
Who cares?
Exactly...@@pfinniganallen
Um… she was topless in scenes before this scene.
You got something against breasts? Half the population have them you know?
Don't read the books😅
