5600 is the Toolcat. I have one and I would not recommend it. The toolcat will pick it up but difficult to position. You want the skid mode for left and right movement. It would be hard to spin around the wood for correct positioning. If you jump out and line up the wood then yes.
Thanks. I got to use an attachment like that once and have been wanting one ever since... Right now, I have a pile of about 20 cords of 4 and 5 foot fir rounds to split up, and my back aches just thinking about it. So I'm watching your video and scheming.
TM also makes a warrior model. This is the 24 inch pro model with viewing window. Warrior just has a big flat piece of steel at the end and the wedges are attached to the cylinder ram. I did have a warrior and traded for this 24 inch pro.
Wish I could mount one of these on a 4020, or a 4430 John deere. Wonder how difficult it would be to fabricate a quick attach mount for a John deere loader ?
Log spliter is a big joke they are racking up hours on a very expensive machine spliting wood at a snalls pace . get a good tractor supply 40 ton spliter 1800.00 then you will have something
LOL this spliter is retired. To slow but very effective on very large logs. No one wants 30 to 60 inch diameter logs so that is what I split. Now I use a 6 way wedge a TM. This is one of my 6 log splitters. If you want fast try the Super Split log splitter!
MY problem? Don't have a Bobcat to begin with, LOL
Would this work with the 5600 Bob cat please comment back in let me know

I like this. Seems pretty cost intensive though.
Isn't that a warrior splitter with another name on it?

What kind of cylinder are you using?
This TM in this video is a 4 inch bore with 2 inch shaft and 24 inch stroke. I think is a northern tool cylinder.

this would be MOST useful when it comes to large rounds too large to move by hand

Cool
If you’re going to try and show off an attachment you should get an operator that can actually operate the machine
