Anyone who has done this by all the old fashioned ways till just logspliter will appreciate, And I just paid what I thought was alot for Fin logspliter maul! this looks great!
Would love to have one but its not worth $18000 for a bunch of tube steel and ¼" plate welded together, a couple hydraulic motors and hoses, with a chainsawbar and chain

+Ram-n_dodge - Exactly, this is the machine that was originally sent to HAHN to make the 150 when they leased the rights to the Patent. The HWP-140 was created by the owner of the Patent, Halverson Wood Products, HAHN leases the rights to produce the HAHN-150 and HAHN-160 using the patent. The HWP-140 was designed to be more cost effective and easier for the home owner to purchase. HAHN has great machines and so does Halverson Wood Products. Thank you for your input.

pretty dang cool without being overdone! love it!
Last log = drop holding arm before reversing the push beam. It should fall into the slot for splitting.
Very cool. Too bad I'll never have enough trees or even cold day to need one of those 😄
AWESOME ! DO THEY MAKE ONE FOR A MINI SKID ? HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH ?
It would be nice if the 4 way was hydraulically controlled up and down to keep it near the center of the log diameter
I already have a better design for a cutting edge.
Pretty freaking cool but what about the last piece? Do you just put it in there manually...

Um, yes it is
Looks like it would be breaking down all the time . Too many moving parts
I want. But since I’m only 52 I still enjoy the exercise of cutting and splitting.
Tough guy, im 23 and thinking about building a splitter. On the other hand its a investment i will hopefully use ~50 Years!

+Clinton Chitwood it would be nice if the bobcat had a enclosed cab with a/c and heat so you could split wood while enjoying the heat or a/c
🤣
That looks familiar.
How much it cost
$10,650.

If i can thank showing me the price
Looks good to me if it's less than $36000000000 dollars like the Hahn version
In 2020 they run around $9,000 for the 120 model and $17000 for the 140 model of Halvorson skid steer processors.
bad ass (and cheap is good)
Change the operator. And it will go faster😀
you must be a bad operator
LOL.
looks like a cheap attemp to copy the Hahn unit
This piece of shit can't even split the last piece

It's still easier than splitting it yourself
@@nephilly87 Yes it can. Operator error. Just drop the log clamp and retract the table the last piece will fall in for splitting.
