When soldering the 2 wires, they don’t end up crisscrossing like the oem speaker? Top wire was soldered to the hole closest to label SP1 while bottom wire was soldered to the hole closest to label C49
Should do a before and after test
Good informative video I have an old purple gameboy advanced with a busted speaker and now I’m gonna replace it this looks easy
What kind of Soldering iron did you use? And what temperature are you supposed to have it when heating up the joints

I did not desolder from he main board. I used the same stock wires to connect to the new speaker.
OK, it seems like it doesn’t matter which wire goes to what. It seems to work either way.
What precautions can i take to not burn myself?
Make sure to have a spot or stand to dock your soldering iron to avoid accidental contact. The tip and metal shaft of the soldering iron will be hot.
Is it necessary to have a soldering iron?
Yes. The soldering iron is used to heat the solder and remove/connect the speaker wires.
