It makes them harder if you already have/have had issues with the non-Sigma variants. Which some people do (I'm one of them). That said, you're not exactly wrong either. So it goes both ways.
Both Malik and Blackmoth's solutions don't actually fix the problem. In Malik's case, if you're FORCED to rely on special weapons to beat bosses, your boss design is flawed. But in Blackmoth's scenario, such a solution removes any manner of 'challenge' to said fights (this is even more of a problem if we're talking about the re-fights). In fact, all the bosses are designed (and tested with the intent of, I imagine) to be beaten with the default Buster. If you have a boss that runs afoul of that ideology, then what was the point of not having weapon energy refills not constant in case of missed shots? Or, perhaps, the idea of even having the boss(es) requiring such methods present in the first place? It goes against balance, and having balance helps fun and challenge have a foothold to begin with.
@@AshramIndustries Yup, unarmored X can beat them with his standard buster. Once you learn how to beat them on level 1 without getting hit you're just waiting for X's buster to recharge.
Since X5 has the best boss theme in the entire series (hot take), I already know this is about to be amazing! EDIT: me saying "hot take", is stupid, please ignore it. I said it, in respect to the other Boss themes.
That’s an interesting way to get around the inability to use voice clips without compressing the hell out of them. It does feel like it can work as well instead of the chanting.
Probably my fave boss tune from the X series. X1's a classic, X2's is passable, X3's is meh, X4's dynamite, and X6's dece. X7 and X8's are pretty good (minus the atrocious VA in 7), but I haven't really played 'em.
Honestly, this is QUITE the interesting take on X5's boss theme. Not sure why it was giving Battle Network vibes with the use of these specific instruments. That's what I think anyway. 🤔
That synth bass should have more decay and Feedback. Some people go with algorithm 7 or 1. Just think of the saw tooth bass from contra hard corps, the synth bass from Thunder Force 4's stage selection, and the bass in elemental master. Also you have the TL turned up too high on one of those modulating operators
Dear Capcom: Giving bosses 4x Hit Points in the Sigma stages doesn't make them harder. It just takes longer.
It makes them harder if you already have/have had issues with the non-Sigma variants. Which some people do (I'm one of them).

Hope you have enough weapon energy before the fights.
ok then we'll just set their health to 1 as a fix

you are right
Wait, that's a hot take? X5 boss theme is a banger
Its not a hot take.
It is the best. I always thought it sounded like a techno-Egyptian rave.
@@FireBomberBassist Fair enough. Even still, I'm really happy Capcom decided to make an amazing remix for the anniversary collection.

The way it sounds to me a super mystical, for a future game set in 21XX. But knowing the two doctors last creations stand. This fits so well
So great the mavericks want a dance party
How did this person manage to make the theme sound a little better in Sega Genesis style? crazy!! BEST boss theme in the WHOLE Megaman X series
I really like this a lot! The beginning part is so similar to a couple Megaman 8 tracks and I'm not complaining haha
Ahh yes... This why I am here.
This bass
Mega Man X5
USA name: The Skiver
Legacy Collection
USA Name: Spiral Pegasus.
This is amazing, it perfectly captures the fatal finale in the track. Bravo!
Nice! This is got to be the best genesis remix music ever *bow*👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

are you gonna do x7 yet
No, he's gonna burn it to the ground.

Kind of sounds like PSX Digimon games.
Bless your heart, you've improved (to me) the track that was one of my least favorite of this OST.
